What is the Toronto City? Why it is so unique? Which attractions and landmarks
it has? What opportunities does this
outstanding city propose?

It is located in south-western part of Canada in the province of Ontario
It’s formal population is 3000000, but with other towns it counts 6000000
It is being called the “economic engine” of Canada
Its name can be translated as the “meeting place”
This city was ranked 4th in the list of the best cities to live in the world (by the opinion of the “Economist” magazine)
Basic information
It is one of the most multicultural cities of the world.
It is one of the most safe cities in the world concerning conflicts based on international basis
Population of Toronto
It was founded in 1793, but it was recognized as city only in 1834.
Firstly, it was called York, but in 1834 it was renamed.
It has grown into megalopolis in 70s with the losing power of Quebec
History
It has very hot summer (20-40° C) and not so cold winter (-30° absolute max.; -6° average)
Its districts are chaotically scattered Toronto is one of the most influential
megalopolises of the world Toronto has one of the most
prestigious universities of the world Toronto had the highest building in
