Knowing the owner of the briefcase must have his, he rushes home and tells his wife to pack - they’re going to Bali! (In fact, they can buy Bali.) When the police ring his doorbell, hefreaks,onlytofindoutthey have confused him with a dead man, accused him of soliciting in the men’s room and more. Clybourne Park explodes in two outrageousactssetfiftyyearsapart. Act One takes place in 1959, as nervous community leaders anxiously try to stop the sale of a home to a black family.
