Tips For HangingWhatever the weather, hanging your clothes correctly is important to obtaining the best drying results. Done correctly, you will reduce the need for ironing (saving you more time!)

linen cupboard MAKEOVER

Without a system in place sheets and towels can reap havoc in your linen cupboard. Determined there was a better way, Sophie called in the Howards organising cavalry for an elfa® makeover…

Having three different sized beds each with their own sized sheets was a pain point for Sophie’s linen cupboard. With no real system in place, changing sheets equated to a lot of wasted time. Sophie explains, “All our sheets were just stacked in a pile and you’d have to unfold them and stretch them across the bed

just to see which sheet set was going to fit.” With the existing chipboard shelves removed, our team moved in with the elfa® framework. “In my experience chipboard can make your linen smell; that’s what I like about elfa®.” she explains. With the framework installed, the team included gliding drawers with

homemade labels to organise sheets. “We’ve grouped the sheets according to sheet size across three different baskets. Now, when I wash, fold and put them in the right basket, I know exactly what sized sheet is where,” says Sophie. Plus, during the makeover I took the opportunity to get rid of items no longer used.
