    MCS - 5700

hen an attachment tool is being operated, the engine speed and the pump flow areontrolled according to the type of tool. For more information, refer to the appropriate servanual for the tool control of the machine that is being serviced.

    election Of A Tool

here are five preprogrammed tools. The operator selects the tool. The monitor is used toake the selection. The following items are examples of some parameters which can bedjusted in order to accommodate a particular tool:

Setting of the engine speed dial

Pump flow for one or two pumps

Pump flow for one or two directions

The setting of the horsepower for the attachment pump.

    ngine Speed Control

hen the pedal is operated, the actual setting of the engine speed dial is compared to theosition of the engine speed dial that was set by the parameter. The engine speed control wwer the engine speed to the selected engine speed that was set in the adjustable paramehen the tool is deactivated, the speed of the engine will return to the actual speed of thetting of the engine speed dial. When the attachment tool is being operated, the AEC and

ne touch low idle are released. If the programmed value is higher than the engine speed ddicator, the engine speed will not be raised.

    ervice Information System

    Main Pump Flow Control

ome tools use the flow of the main pump. A pressure switch detects the pressure change.oportional reducing valve restricts the main pump flow. A resolver valve selects the higheessure between the pressure in the control valve and the pressure from the proportional

ducing valve. This signal restricts the pump flow to a lower pressure. The main pump flowen reduced.

his process results in better simultaneous operation of the tool and operation of themplement.

ote:A "System 5" Tool Control does not have a proportional reducing valve.

Main Pump Control During Use Of The Auxil iary Pump

ote:A "System 14 "Tool Control is the only system that uses an auxiliary pump.

he controller detects an attachment pump section. This offsets the load of the attachmentump. This process also prevents a decrease of the engine speed. If an attachment pump iperated with 30 percent of the rated load and the main pumps are operated at the sameme, a reduction in engine speed is prevented.
