Thank You!! A big thank you to all TOM school coordina-tors, team facilitators, judges, parents and committee members who supported our program in 2009. We hope you and your stu-dents found it a re-warding, worthwhile and enjoyable experi-ence.
We look forward to your participation again in 2010.
Your Feedback We are always looking at ways to improve our program and would appreciate your con-structive comments on the 2009 Program. Ac-companying this news-letter you will find a two page feedback survey. You can fill out as much or as little as you like, and you need not fill in your personal details if you do not wish. Once completed we prefer you email it back. We are more than happy if you wish
to provide additional comments, sugges-tions and ideas to im-prove TOM in the fu-ture.
Well Done Teams! Congratulations to all teams on a fine effort at this year’s Regional, State and Australasian Pacific Finals.
Many judges com-mented on the won-derfully creative ideas and impressive presen-tations that teams pro-duced in all regions.
The TOM program en-courages real life learning. The Chal-lenges are not easy - with many rules to fol-low, forms to complete
Wishing you a Clever Christmas and a Nifty New Year!

and limitations to con-sider. The Regional Maths Eng. Challenge was a doozy this year!
It is an excellent result for a team that worked through these difficul-ties to present at the Regional Finals.
Tournament of Minds is a process, and what’s most important are the skills that can be de-veloped, the life ex-periences that can be gained and the very real learning that can take place through the team doing its best, honestly and with in-tegrity. These skills will take team members much further and last far longer than the thrill of winning may do.
C-
I say, Dad. I’m thinking that some kind of “Stimulus
Package” would help im-prove my grades. How
about it?
