13th Annual Camp RunHave Motorcycle Will Ride

Sat. August 1, 2015 is the 13th Annual Camp Run. Started by a couple of guys wanting to ride to-gether while raising some extra funds for Family

Camp. Many riders have come and gone and some even returned. The Lord has greatly blessed us as we have twisted throttles for Him.

Bob grew up in Western New York the product of a strong middle class fam-

ily. He embraced Christ while attending Roberts Wesleyan Col-lege and had discerned his call to teach and work with youth while working at Eastern Nazarene College. Bob has been a member of the Nazarene Church for 28 years. A former youth pastor at the Wollaston Church of the Naza-rene, he has held numerous lead-ership positions on the New En-

gland District. He stays active in his local church through his in-volvement in the media arts and occasionally teaching senior high Sunday school.

Bob is currently the Eastern Field Youth Coordinator. Bob has spo-ken across the Eastern Field chal-lenging students and adults to impact our world for Christ.

Bob has been married to Bev for 27 years and they have 4 children Alyssa (22), Robbie (20), Lucas (16), and Jimmy (14).

Our children are having a great time cooling off in the pool and the water slide. It is open each day through Saturday from 2:30-4:30PM.

Our kids are having great times of doing science experiments at the Pavilion each morning at 9:00AM. Does Play Dough sink or float? If you don’t know, ask a kid who was at the pavilion Tues-day morning.

Monday eve-ning Rev. Mike Parenti gave a great message reminding us that we are great just the way God made us. Big, small, tall, short, ath-letic, academ-ic, red hair or blonde, we are just the way God formed us to be in His mind. As He

knitted us together, as He planned our being from before our formation, we are just right, the way He made us. He remind-ed us that we need not be held captive by the words or actions or ideas of others or our world, but we can freedom from those things in Christ. You don’t want to miss the great preaching of Rev. Parenti or Rev. Shellenberger, 10:30AM and 7:00PM.

The teens are keeping busy with great activ-ities in the afternoons such as basketball and water kickball, which re-ally looked refreshing! (If this cold snap would just end and it would warm up a

little bit)

Today our teens are going on their mission trip to the Island, Butler. Teens you will be leaving at noon with a VBS lunch at 12:30. Don’t miss the mission event.

Rev. Greg Jack had a great Bible study yesterday

morning on Romans 4. Using this passage he reminded us that laws are imperfect and that people are always looking for and finding ways to twist or break them. We will never im-press God with our works, the things that we do, but we are called to live the life of Christ.
