Should you experience any gastrointestinal illness, please visit the ship’s medical facility for a complimentary consultation and treatment, if necessary .United States Public Health Regulation Information – Animal foods such as beef, eggs, lamb, milk, pork, poultry or seafood that are raw or under-cooked significantly increase the risk of food-borne illness to vulnerable and immuno-deficient guests .Dengue Fever Alert – Recently, there has been a worldwide increase in the number of cases of Dengue Fever . Dengue Fever is caused by a virus and is characterized by a high fever, severe headache and eye pain, chills, body and joint pains, nausea/vomiting and a transient rash . The disease is spread to people by the bite of an infected day-biting mosquito . There is no direct person-to-person spread of the illness . In order to reduce the risk of contracting any number of diseases spread by mosquito bites including Dengue Fever, we urge you to take precautions to avoid mosquito bites by remaining in well-screened or air conditioned areas when possible, by wearing light-colored clothing that adequately covers the arms and legs and by applying insect repellant to both skin and clothing .
