Christmas Eve Service Schedule

On Sunday, December 24, we will follow this service schedule: Sunday School & Morning Worship at their regular times (9:30 & 10:30 AM). Sunday Evening Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 5:00 PM.

AWANA News

AWANA will not meet this week as we enjoy the Church-wide Christmas Fellowship. AWANA Clubs will meet on Sunday, December 17. Then

on December 20, we will enjoy our Christmas Party and the AWANA Store will be open to spend shares clubbers have earned. Contact: Rev. Joshua Horne

Parkers Chapel Christmas Fellowship - Dec. 13

This special meal is always a great time of fellowship! Meeting in the Family Life Center, the meal will be served from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. The program will begin as soon as all have been served. The ticket cost is $5.00 per adult (ages 13 and older). Free to our widows and widowers, and children 12 and under. (All adults need to pick up a ticket to be included in the drawing for prizes that night.) Tickets are available now and may be picked up in the secretaries’ offices after services. Please purchase your tickets by December 11 so that we will have an accurate number for our caterer. Contact: Rev. Robert Spruill

Tonight - The Story of Christmas

Your heart will be blessed as you watch the Christmas Story unfold right before your eyes. Over 130 people will make up the choir and drama for this musical pageant tonight at 6:30 PM. Plan now to attend and invite others. Remember that many people will attend a program like this who would

not normally attend a church service. Let’s work together to get as many here to hear the true message of Christmas.

Christmas Card Information

It's that time of year again! To assist you during this busy season, the teens will be sorting out all Christmas cards to and from Parkers Chapel families. Money normally spent on postage will be donated to the

Teen Department for the Summer Missions efforts. To participate, follow these easy steps:

1. Place your Christmas cards in the mail box in the hallway. 2. Insert the money that would normally be spent on

postage into the donation box. 3. Cards addressed to you will be available for pick-up in the

Church Fellowship Hall. The sorting process will end Wednesday, December 20. Cards will remain in the Fellowship Hall until New Year’s Day. Thank you in advance for your support of our teens. Contact: Rev. Adam Hinson

Christmas Offering - December 17

Each year our church family has the opportunity to give a collective Christmas gift to our pastors. They are certainly a blessing to our church ministry. Don’t miss this chance to encourage them and show your love for them during the Christmas season.

Saturday - Middler’s & Junior’s Classes Caroling

This Saturday, December 16, the Middler’s and Junior’s Sunday School classes (grades 3 - 6) will go Christmas Caroling to the homes of our elderly church members. The group will leave the church at 4:00 PM, and will return to the church at 6:00 PM for Christmas refreshments and hot chocolate. There is a sign up sheet on the hall bulletin board.
