Decree 2007-1115 of 07/05/07 Laying down the burdened zones by aeronautical constraints of release and beaconing related to the aerodromes intended for the public air traffic and at some aerodrome, for limited use.
Act of 10/05/07 Laying down the model of beaconing of the obstacles considered dangerous for the air navigation.
Act of 10/05/07 Laying down the maximum limit height of the obstacles inside and outside the burdened zones with aeronautical constraints.
Order of the Minister of Transport N° 60 dated 09/02/17 Laying down the modalities of controlling the obstacles and the establishment of aeronautical alternation plans for aerodromes opened to public air traffic.
Area 1 Terrain dataset
Currently Tunisia doesn’t provide a terrain
dataset for Area 1.
The flight procedure designers of OACA use a
DTM of the Tunisian territory with a resolution of
90 m in ASCII format (since 2001) .
This DTM doesn’t comply with the eTOD
requirements.
TOD Current Status
Area 1 Obstacle dataset
Currently Tunisia publishes En-route obstacle data in the
Tunisian AIP in ENR 5.4.
These data don’t comply with the eTOD requirements.
Area 2 Terrain & Obstacle dataset
Currently Tunisia doesn’t provide a terrain dataset for Area 2 of
its airports.
flight procedure designers have a digital database of obstacles
in the vicinity of airports (the data originators: obstacle owners
or surveyors)
some obstacles entities needs to be improved by additional
attributes

Scope of the pilot project
the perimeter has been limited
to the South East zone of Tunis
Carthage International Airport
It covers an area of 145 km² :
• area 2a :2.1km²
• area 2b : 22.9km²
• area 2c : 119.km²

The aerial photography consulted as part of our
study are the result of a campaign of aerial
photography by a "DMC III" camera and are
characterized by :
• Sensor type: Digital
• Year of acquisition: 2016-2017
• Number of images: 7760
• Raw spatial resolution: 10 cm
• Average flight height: 1000m
• Longitudinal overlaps: 60%.
• Side overlaps: 20%
