Program Outline. The Dunkeld & District Community Bank® Branch is operated under franchise to Bendigo Bank Ltd by a community owned company, Grampians Regional Community Enterprises Limited. The Bendigo Bank products and services held at our branch generate our income; we dedicate a portion of the profits to our Community Investment Program.

As our business grows with banking support from our communities our community investment grows and we are in turn able to support more community groups. The volume of requests for support has increased, as such we’ve refined the way in which we accept and assess these applications to manage this process as best we can.

A successful Community Investment Program involves good communication and planning and has benefits for both the recipients and the branch. Our Community Investment Program is our bank’s main form of advertising. The potential for community exposure and the opportunity for generating follow on support in the form of banking business, are of high importance when we assess a community investment application. The outcome of the applications is determined by many measures, which include the benefit to the community and Dunkeld & District Community Bank® Branch.

Unfortunately we are unable to consider any application which fall into any of the areas as listed:-

Is political or sectarian in nature Is commercial in nature Promotes/involves discrimination, racial hatred, or any illegal activity Is already sponsored by another bank

Should you have any questions or queries, or require assistance or guidance with your application, please contact Sue Morse, Sponsorship Director.
