SESSION 2
Summer Rec Camp is a program designed and supported by the professional and student staff of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Department of Campus Recreation. We serve the children of our University, community and Hunt County.
Our primary goal is to promote the development of personal awareness related to healthy lifestyle choices through physicalfitness, nutrition, education and recreational activities.
Campers will have the opportunity to utilize the amazing Morris Recreation Center facilities. They will enjoy pre-planned activities provided by trained counselors that challenge coordination and cognitive thinking while encouraging teamwork and cooperation. A typical day at camp consists of activities that include basketball, wallyball, rock climbing, soccer, archery and swimming. Snacks will be provided each day.
Is commited to providing access and reasonable accommodationin its services, programs, activities, education and employment for individuals with disabilities. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will make accommodations in accordance with the law. To request ADA accommodations, please communicate your needs three days before the activity or program you plan to attend by calling Kari Osborne at 903.468.3175.
