Dismissal is at 2:10 pm.
| If your child is going to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please submit a note in your child’s take-home folder.
| The school year is separated into trimesters.
| There are 3 report cards given each year (November, March & June).
| Students will be graded on a 1 - 4 scale

Please make it a routine to read with your child every night.

Writing Expectation
By June, the expectation is that your child write across 3 pages about a known topic with correct capitalization, spacing, and punctuation.
Please practice “sounding out” words at home and encourage your child to speak in complete sentences.

By June, the expectation is that your child have a solid sense of numbers. We expect
that children be able to count to 100 by tens and ones as well as add and subtract within
5 fluently.
Please practice counting and writing numbers to 20
at home.

AttireStudents wear uniforms everyday. Children get hot/cold very easily. Please be sure to send in your little one properly dressed. Layers always work best and having an extra sweater around in the colder months can help ease the chills. In addition, closed toed shoes are required on the outside playground (no flip flops please).

AccidentsAs a parent you know that accidents do happen. Be sure to send in an extra shirt, pair of pants, underwear and socks.
