In addition to the numerous fiber providers available at The Connexion site, XO Communications has a long haul southern fiber route approved to connect to a trans-western fiber link. This new southern fiber route will solve a “single point of failure” issue currently facing the region. For more information on this long haul southern fiber route, please contact Doug Hollidge.

McGough Construction has a substantial history – more than 30 years – planning and building mission-critical facilities. Our experience includes more than 1,000,000 SF of raised floor delivered under design-build and design-assist delivery methodologies. Our mission-critical projects are characterized by their reliability, quality, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. We have never missed a “go live” date. Our phased mission-critical approach employs a collaborative approach with our owners and all project team members, which extends from the early preconstruction phase and remains throughout construction and post-occupancy. We provide ongoing design and constructability reviews, alternative means and methods, budgeting, schedules, life cycle cost analysis, and tier and redundancy validation. Our in-house expertise includes mechanical and electrical engineers with extensive commissioning and data center design validation experience.

Due to the speed and need for access to information in today’s global markets, mission critical facilities must be flexible, adaptable and expandable, and most importantly they must be reliable. We understand a single point of failure may result in a shut-down that no one wants or can afford. We also understand the design of a data center is driven by engineering requirements. Pope Architects collaborates with the team to manage the project design process, create an arrangement of spaces that is flexible and develop a building envelope that provides an environment for reliable systems performance. We utilize the principles of modularity and scalability for our mission critical design, and strive to create facilities that are both user-friendly and secure. Our credentials include the design of Tier II and III facilities as ground-up structures to build-outs of existing spaces, as well as various delivery methods, such as design-bid-build and design-build.

Since 1965, Hunt Electric has built numerous mission critical facilities around the world including the largest single build data center in the United States. In addition, we’ve completed more than 1,000,000 square feet of data center IT raised floor space in the past 5 years with electrical values totaling more than $800,000,000. We have more than $500,000 worth of electrical testing equipment within our inventory to complete critical testing of electrical equipment and can offer predictive maintenance for your data center. We offer a solution that allows the Owner to be a part of every single purchase and every major decision. We provide a highly-trained, quality workforce with a process that will yield higher quality and a safer work environment.

With over 2,000,000 square feet of data center experience (more than 80% of these projects were design/assist), MMC has the knowledge and expertise to be a trusted partner for your data center. MMC’s preconstruction services will ensure the mechanical infrastructure is built with the highest possible system integrity and efficiency. As part of the preconstruction services, we will assist with such things as establish and manage the project’s mechanical budget, assess mechanical system criteria and constructability, establish and maintain the project schedule. MMC will be a strong partner throughout the preconstruction and construction process to ensure that the project is set up to achieve the goals of the project. Upon project completion, MMC has advanced testing, startup and commissioning, as well as preventative maintenance plans, and emergency 24-hour service and monitoring. Whether you’re in need of a Tier 1 or Tier 4 facility, MMC is a trusted and experienced partner that will be where you need us, when you need us.
