Resolutions:

13.1 The Academic Council has confirmed and approved minutes of previous Academic

Council meeting held on 21-04-2018.

13.2 The Academic Council has approved BOS meetings of various departments.

13.3 The Academic council has suggested the following amendments regarding I B'Tech'

Course Structure.

i. I B.Tech I Semester credits shall fixed as 17 or 18 and I B.Tech II semester credits shall

be fixed to20 or2l.

ii. AI Tools shall be introduced in I B.Tech. II Semester instead of I B.Tech. I Semester'

iii...problem Solving Techniques' and "Introduction to Programming" shall be combined

as a single subject and shall be introduced in I B.Tech. I semester'

iv. The Syllabus of Chemistry subject shall be revised'

v. Weekly load of "Engineering Graphics and Design" subject shal-l !e changed as I

Theory and 3 Practice periods-instead of 2 Theory and 4 Practice periods.

13.3 The Academic Council has suggested the following amendments regarding II,III and

IV B.Tech. Course Structure:

i. Mandatory Leaming courses shall be assessed as "Pass'o or "Fail" without mentioning

credits.

ii. 3 to 4 weeks Intemship shall be mandatory for students before VII semester.

iii. Exclusive programs can be conducted on 'oGender Sensitization" instead of having a

Separate subject.

13.4 The Academic Council has reviewed 2017-18 II Semester and 2018-19 I Semester

Results of B.Tech., MBA, and M.Tech. Programmes'

13.5 The Academic Council has reviewed Faculty contributions like Patents filed, Ph.D's

awarded, Publications in referred Journals & NPTEL online

Certification Courses for the academic year 2017-18'

13.6 The Academic Council has reviewed "scholarships sanctioned to meritorious and

economically poor students" for the academic year 2018-19.

13.7 The Academic Council has reviewed Institutional Rankings and Achievements.

13.g The Academic Council has reviewed Students Placements from Academic year

2015-16 to till date.

13.9 The Academic Council has approved to increase intake for UG Course in the

department of CSE.

13.10 The Academic Council has approved reduction of number of seats for PG course

from 36 to 18 in the department of CSE.
