MyiLibrary provides a faster and easier way to access collections of books, reports,

journals, and other documents published by major publishers and inter-governmental

organisations.

The aim is to allow you to write research papers more quickly and conveniently.

MyiLibrary provides you with various searching tools to ensure that you find the book or

collection that you are looking for. Whilst reading an ebook you will be able to use a

variety of tools to enable you to bookmark pages and make notes. Your bookmarks and

notes will then be saved in your personal notepad, which you will be able to access at any

point using your user login details.

Click on a publisher name toview, select and read abook from the desired

content.

How to search for an ebook

Bookmarks allow you to viewany bookmarks or notes

that you may have made ina previous MyiLibrary

session.

Advanced Search allows youto search in more detail.

For example by booktitle, ISBN, publisher

e.t.c.

For a Quick Search across allcontent, enter a keyword

and select GO. This willthen display a selection of

books related to yoursearch.

titles within theircollection.

Scroll through titles in the listand click on the relevantbook title to view details

of the ebook.

Once you have selected anebook title, the bookdetails are displayed.

You now have two choices:

by entering a keywordand selecting GO.

This will search the titles,Authors, Editors, ISBNs

and Keywords withinyour collections.

Your results will then appear asfollows. To view the

details for a listed ebookclick on the title.

Once you have selected anebook title, the bookdetails are displayed.

You now have two choices:

i. Click here to return to thelist of search results

ii. Click here to open andread the ebook.

To search for an ebook in moredetail, click the Advanced

Search button in orderto open the

advanced search screen.

The Advanced Searchallows you to search using a

wide variety of optionsdepending on the

information you have.

For example, if you knew the ISBNof the book you could enterit here. Or, if you knew the

title, enter it here.

Once you have enteredinformation into the relevant

fields, click search to seethe search results.

After submitting your advancedsearch your results will

appear as follows. To viewthe details for a listed

ebook click on the title.

Once you have selected anebook title the book details

i. Click here to return to the listof search results.

Go to page:

Key in a page number and click'Go to page' to view that

ebook page.

Next page:

Search: Select the Search tabon your tool bar to search

your open ebook.

Enter your research specifickeyword(s)

Select your search format,either by:

i. Exact word(s)

ii. All forms of the word(s)

Click GO to activate yourkeyword(s) search.

i. #Hits: The number of timesyour keyword(s) is

displayed on the page.

ii. The page number that thekeyword can be found on.

Copy: Hold down your leftmouse button and drag

through the text until youare happy with the

amount of highlightedcontent and then release

the mouse button.

Use the keyboard: Cntrl + C

Open your target program and

Paste: Cntrl + V

i. For account holders pleaseenter your login details

here - and click Login

ii. If you have forgottenyour password click here

to have the securitydetails sent to your e-mail

address again.

iii. If you do not have a 'Notes'account click here to create

a User ID and Password.

Select the Notes tab on yourtool bar to open yourMyiLibrary Notepad.

To use your unique Notepadyou must have a 'Notes'

account.

Your 'Notes' Account passwordwill be sent straight to your

e-mail address, and yoursignup is complete.

Close the pop-up box to continueusing MyiLibrary and start

to use your new'Notes' Account.

To create your 'Notes' Account,enter your

email address here.

Enter your researchspecific note.

To open your unique Notepadclick 'Create/Edit notes'.

Your unique Notepad will bedisplayed as a pop-up box.

or Click 'Close Window ' tobookmark your Note

and continue browsingyour ebook on

MyiLibrary.

Click 'Save this note' tobookmark your note andcontinue using Notepad

To go to your research noteclick the hyperlink under

'view/edit note'.

To go to the ebook page,specific to your note,

click on the hyperlink under'go to page '.

To view your Notes, specific toyour current ebook, click

'Create/Edit Notes’

Your Notepad will appearas a pop-up.

On completing your Note editingactivity click 'Save Note' to

save your changes andcontinue using your Notepad.

Or Click 'Save/Close' to saveyour Note and continuebrowsing your ebook or

MyiLibrary

To edit your Note, place themouse cursor in the text

and edit your Note specificto your researching needs.

Delete: To delete the selectedNote(s) click here.

Print: To print the selectedNote(s) click here

Whenever you wish to print ordelete your note:

Select the specific note that youwish to print or delete

Help… Your Bookmarks

By clicking on the bookmarksbutton a window will

appear asking you to loginusing your username and

password.

i. Your Notes username andpassword will also

access your Bookmarks.

If you have yet to register and donot have a user id and

password, click here to enteryour email address where you

will then be emailed yourusername and password.

ii. If you already have yourusername and password,enter them here and click

the submit button.

iii. If you have forgotten you'reyour password click here to

have it emailed to you.

To view or edit anybookmarks or notes that

you may have made inprevious MyiLibrary

sessions click on thebookmarks button.

appear containing a list ofany bookmarks and notesthat you may have saved

in the past.

To view a bookmark click ontitle from your list.

Once a bookmark has beenselected, the bookmarked

A. eBooks are electronic versions of printed books. eBooks can be viewed online from any PC connected to the Internet. You canbrowse eBooks for quick research and reference or read them at your leisure. Since eBooks are online, they're available at yourconvenience - anywhere, anytime. You never have to worry about returning them.

Q. What is Myilibrary?

A. MyiLibrary is the library tool for today and tomorrow. This unique electronic platform gives users desktop access to some of themost topical and current electronic content available today. You can access a wide range of research, reference, and readingmaterials online from any location. You can search across many eBooks, or conduct your search within a particular eBook.

Q. What collections are available on MyiLibrary?

A. MyiLibrary has now partnered with many of the main United Nations Agencies to bring their content together into an aggregateddatabase allowing searching through all publications. These IGO contributors include:

World Bank

IAEA

Along with these IGO collections, users can also acquire e-content from many of the largest STM publishers such as Kluwer,Springer Verlag, Taylor & Francis and Wiley.

Q. How can I change my subscriber details?

A. If you are a current subscriber and wish to notify us of a name change, change of address, contact name, use the online ContactUs form. After submission of this form our Customer Support department will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your newsubscription details.

Q. What do I do if I have forgotten or lost my Log in details?

Q. How do I get help if I have a problem?

A. Our online Help resource covers your initial use of MyiLibrary and details how to effectively use MyiLibrary to fulfill all of yourresearch needs. If you are unable to find an answer to your problem contact us or e-mail help@myilibrary.com and a member ofour support team will contact you with an appropriate solution within 24 hours.

Q. Can more than one person at a time access a document?

A. Yes. Any number of people can view and search a document at the same time.

Q. Why can't I save a copy of the entire document I'm looking at?

A. Publishers and copyright owners determine how much of any particular document can be copied or printed. Your ebook may alsobe displayed page by page, therefore you will not be able to save the entire ebook in one go.

Q. Do eBooks provide less or more information than their print counterparts? Will illustrations transfer clearly?

A. In most cases, MyiLibrary collections are an exact duplication of the printed book, and our digital files are optimised for each of thedifferent formats (HTML or PDF). In addition, rights issues may sometimes prevent MyiLibrary from including all of the illustrationsas they exist in the printed version.

Q. If new research becomes available or the book is revised will the eBook be automatically updated?

A. No, eBook editions are published in the same way as new editions of printed books.

Q. What level of technical support/customer care can MyiLibrary offer?

A. We ensure that all your queries are accorded the highest priority. Our Help Desk aims to answer all questions within 24 hours.

Q. How do I reference eBooks in any essays or dissertations that I write?

A. All eBooks have a format eISBN, which can be cited as references when needed. In addition, most formats still include referencegeneric bibliographic information.

Q. Can I print chapters, sections or pages I want to use for my research?

A. Yes, you can print chapters, sections or pages you wish to use for your research. Click here view our Printing Help Desk.

Q: When I enter my username and password I receive a message saying that it is invalid. Why?

A: Both username and password are case sensitive. Be sure that you are entering them correctly. If you would like to have themverified contact our help desk email help@myilibrary.com. Enter your account number and your username and password will beemailed to you. If your email address is likely to have changed since you first registered, please contact us quoting yoursubscriber number and new email address, and we will send them to you.

Q: How can I tell if my institution has subscribed to the Journal?

A: If your institution has an online subscription, you'll automatically have access to the collections through a username andpassword or through Athens log in authentication. Please contact your Librarian or Administrator who should be able to provideyou with the information you need alternatively contact us for further details.

Q: I am a researcher at an institution that subscribes to MyiLibrary. How do I get access?

A: If your institution is registered for access to MyiLibrary, you should be able to access the collections using a username &password or Athens log in authentication. Please contact your Librarian or Administrator who should be able to provide you withthe information you need alternatively contact us for further details.

Q: I am a researcher at an institution which is member of a consortium that has just subscribed to MyiLibrary.

How do I get access?

A: MyiLibrary should have already registered your institution for consortia access. Your librarian should be able to provide you withthe information you need.

Q: What happens if I have problems with online access?

A: If you experience any problems with online access, or have any other technical queries, our experienced Customer Service Teamwill be pleased to assist you.

Q. Are there pictures in the books? What about maps, charts, and tables?

A. All original illustrations, graphs, and tables are included on the service if we have been able to acquire appropriate licensing rights.
