Burial Service, is the comfort and conso-lation of God's children, in their sorrow

and bereavement, when called uponby Providence to part with their lovedalles ; thai, by their perusing thesepages, they might realize great support.I have, therefore, striven to be DEFINITE ;and have carefully selected (by" rightlydividing the word of truth," 2. Tim. ii.,

15) many precious promises of God,which have a direct reference to theResurrection. Also, by request of Min-isters of the Baptist Mission, and others,I have compiled this Service, with thehope thai it may prove a blessing.This Service is intended for believers.

Teach us to number Durdays, thai we may fear Thee, and

it is raised in glory. It is sown inweakness, it is raised in power. It issown a natural body, it is raised aspiritual body. The first man Adamwas made a living soul; the last Adamwas

made a quickening spirit. Thefirst man is of the earth earthy; thesecond man is the Lord from heaven.And as we have borne the image of

the earthy, we shall also bear the image-of the heavenly. Behold I show Jou

a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but

we shall all be changed. For thetrumpet shall sound, and the dead

shall be raised incorruptible, and weshall be changed, in a moment, inthe twinkling of an eye, at the lasttrump. For ibis corruptible, must puton incorruption, and th is mortal, mustput on immortality. So when this cor-

ruptible, shall have put on incorruption ;and this mortal, shall have put on
