Maps are designed for in-car clarity and the vocal directions can be in any one of 20 different languages. Wherever you’re going, there’s also a host of special features and directory information to make the journey even smoother and more pleasurable.

Scroll maps and menusSimply touch your finger to the screen and then slide it over the surface to scroll maps or search up and down menus. With a menu, a gentle touch on your choice will access the next level of information.

Safer, congestion-free travelTNS350 adds to safer driving by giving you clear notice of which lane to be in, speed limits and safety camera locations. Essential up-coming route information appears on a split screen alongside the main map.

The system also has dynamic route guidance*. This automatically collects local radio traffic information and warns you of congestion on the road ahead. You can then follow a diversionary route to avoid the problem.

* Dynamic route guidance depends on the availability of local traffic message channel radio broadcasts.

Point of interest The point of interest directory lists more than 700,000 travel features. In addition to tourist attractions and leisure facilities you’ll also find essentials such as service stations, airports and border crossings.

Planning your routeAll you need to do is tell the TNS350 where you want to go. You can enter a street name, map reference or select from any one of the easy to use directories. TNS350 then prepares the best route.

Avoid delaysWhen notified, TNS350 calculates an alternative route to bypass congested roads.

3D highlightsPoints of interest along your route are shown in 3D graphics for quick recognition.

Favourites directoryYou can store up to 99 locations in TNS350’s favourite destinations memory.

Map zoomingSlide your finger along the zoom bar to increase or decrease the map’s scale.

Driving safelyAdvance warning of speed limits and safety cameras supports better driving.

Talk, listen and enjoyThe TNS350 is an in-car multi-media centre. You can listen to your favourite sounds, hold hands-free telephone conversations and view video clips and photographs. In fact, with the system’s comprehensive connectivity, you’ve got a world of entertainment and communication at your fingertips.

View video and photographsTNS350’s 5.8” screen is great for looking at video from your iPod® or photographs from any USB key.

You can also use picture viewer to personalise the TNS350 opening screen.

iPod® connectionsConnect with the standard iPod® USB cable for audio or a special optional cable for iPod® video.

Easy USB updatingYou can transfer points of interest data from the Toyota navigation website using any USB key.

Crystal clear DAB As an option, the TNS350’s AM/FM tuner can be upgraded for DAB reception.

Map updates via SD cardThe high image resolution of an SD card is ideal for updating TNS350 maps via a computer download.

Safety updatesMap updates include all the latest revisions to speed limits and safety camera locations.

Safe telephonyTNS350 Bluetooth® touch-screen controls can be enhanced by steering wheel controls on many Toyota cars for added safety.

Playing iPod® musicConnect your iPod® and the TNS350’s touch-screen controls let you to select and play your favourite tracks. Even the album art is displayed.

When navigation is active, the iPod® data can appear on a split screen alongside the map.

TNS350 at home Keeping your TNS350 up to date is simplicity itself thanks to a dedicated navigation portal on the Toyota website and the site’s user-friendly data exchange software.

Using a home computer or laptop you can quickly download complete mapping systems and map updates onto an SD card for easy uploading to the TNS350. Map updates include all notified changes to the road network including new roads, one-way systems and speed limits.

The website is also a big benefit for planning holidays and long business trips. It allows you to search on-line for special points of interest and then download the extra information for uploading into your TNS350.
