1 TEACHER’S NOTES “WE LOVE ROCK N’ ROLL” by Terry Murray and Gillian Eastoe “We love rock n’ roll” covers the many aspects of a musical syllabus with additional theatrical and personal development areas being covered as well. Using music, fashion and dances children are happily exposed to beat, style, rhythm, fashion, dance, history, and audience participation encouraging confidence and humour. POST SHOW ACTIVITIES: Infants: (A) (A) Colour in cartoons of the kinds of characters characters that represent some of the fun of the “Rock n’ Roll” show introduced during the show. (B) (B) Using the blank face sheets Children can draw, paste, or whatever medium you care to use, their favorite hairstyles from the Rock n’ Roll show on the bare face provided. REQUIREMENTS Area: 3 by 7 metres performing area in front of audience Power outlet & table Sessions: mixed ages in each session work best if more than one session
