Initially established as a Media division in February 2005, creating Bank of Ireland’s first specialist team in the UK.
Technology & Telecoms specialism added in January 2008 with the recruitment of established sector professionals.
Based in London, the team comprises the market’s most experienced team of senior TMT corporate bankers who are
recognised for delivering innovative tailored solutions to suit the ever-changing needs of the TMT sector.
Our product offering includes senior and subordinated debt, and our Treasury colleagues can offer interest rate and
exchange rate hedging instruments plus full treasury and cash management packages developed around individual
yield, liquidity and maturity criteria.
Geographic focus on the UK and Ireland, with appetite for selective European assets.
TMT portfolio currently comprises c. €1bn of assets across 50+ separate transactions.
Geographic split of total assets is weighted towards the UK market at 64% reflecting our strategic focus, with the USA
representing 11%, Europe 8% and other 17%.
Bank of Ireland is committed to the sector. The difficult economic conditions have not affected our approach to the
market and we continue to be proactive and ‘open for business’, supporting both new and existing clients.
To date, over 35 transactions completed as Mandated Lead Arranger including 5 in 2011 supported by a dedicated

Germany and GSMA Barcelona.
