standard for mobile X-ray system

s

Mobile X-ray system

s are moved around hospitals

all the time to perform

radiography on patients who

cannot easily get to an X-ray room.

What m

akes a system environm

ent-friendly and

easy-to-use?

To address these issues, Toshiba has kept the

basics in mind, w

hile advancing the development of

motor-driven, high-perform

ance systems.

Now, Toshiba has the answ

er in the IME-100L.

Wheel-guided m

otionLarge wheels and wheel-guided m

otion allow operators to overcom

e floor gradients with less m

anual force.

Wheel step

This step is easy to tread on, and has suffi

cientclearance above the floor. Th

e safety design eliminates

the risk of a foot being caught between the step and the floor, even in the wheel-guided setting.

Bumper

A bumper the sam

e width as the cart is provided at the front of the equipm

ent, to alleviate the shock caused by possible collisions.

Corner guideTh

is allows you to confirm the position of the

bumpers while the equipm

ent is in motion, and

helps in navigating narrow spaces.

Deadman-type brake

A deadman-type brake is em

ployed. If the handle is released, the brake will be applied autom

atically. A slight handle m

ovement causes deceleration while in

motion.

Brake elimination

You can choose a brake-free condition. Thus, you

can easily position the equipment while m

oving the m

ain assembly.

Vertical rotation of X-ray tubeTh

e X-ray tube can be rotated vertically by ±90º, and easily positioned for lateral-view radiography.

Swiveling of the X-ray tube

The X-ray tube assem

bly can be swiveled forward by –15º through +90º. H

andgrip manipulation

maintains the orientation of the X-ray port

irrespective of the height of the arm.

Large wheels

Large 40-cm diam

eter wheels are employed. Th

ese are com

bined with free-castor-type front wheels to ensure quietness and ease of m

ovement.

HandgripsTh

ese allow you to swivel and rotate the X-ray tube with less m

anual force.

Pantograph-type armA well-balanced, lock-free arm

is employed.

It eliminates tim

e-consuming arm

lock procedures for positioning, ensuring m

ore speedy positioning.

54

Horizontal rotation of armTh

e arm can be rotated horizontally around the

support column by ±45º. For bedside radiography, it

is unnecessary to change the orientation of the main

body of the equipment.

Flexible movem

ent ensures smooth exam

inations

Vertical-rotation arm lock

The arm

is provided with a lockingm

echanism which easily fixes the arm

.

Horizontal-rotation arm lock

The support colum

n is provided with alocking m

echanism. It suppresses vibration of

the arm while the equipm

ent is in motion,

and protects against failure.

anner.

Single component panel

The upper part consists of a single plastic

component. Th

is safety design prevents spilledliquids from

entering the equipment.

Key switch

The key swich breaks the circuit for the safe

use and storage of the X-ray equipment.

Power supply cable

This is a cord-reel-type 3 pin power supply

cable that can be easily accomm
