January brings a big win for the Clear Lake Clinic. During the months of Novem-ber and December the Clear Lake Clinic competed with the other TMC | ViaFit clinics for “best insurance authorization”. The Clear Lake Clinic staff worked tireless-ly with great team work and initiative to achieve their success.

On Friday, January 4, 2013 Robert visited the Clear Lake Clinic and was proud to

present the team with their cash prize for maintaining an almost flawless authorization record in the months of November and December. Robert noted that the Clear Lake Clinic win was evidence that the entire team worked together and individually to make sure all authorizations were complete and correct.

The win for Clear Lake is just another example of how great attitudes and great initiative leads to great success for all of us. Tammy and the Clear Lake team are kicking off 2013 with success and we all look forward to what the year will bring to the Clinic. Patients. People. Process.

The TMC | ViaFit family has reason to celebrate. We are entering the new year with some great success stories to share and accomplishments to celebrate!

Lori Vanderhoof recently reached a long-time personaland professional goal by becoming an ABC CertfiedOrthotist | Prothestist.

Robert received an email from a patient at our SouthwestClinic. The patient praised the Southwest team for thegreat care he has received. He specifically mentioned hisprothestist, Teresa Masters for everything she has doneto make his prosthetic experience successful. He noted “without the staff at TMC Sugarland I doubt I would have recovered with the speed and ease I have. My outcome so far is nothing short of wonderful. The staff at the clinic, most notably Teresa Masters, my prosthetist, have treated me with care and respect every step of the way. Ms. Masters is a most capable professional. Everything she has done and said has proven beneficial to me.Her patience and clear understanding of what I have gone through have made this much easier to go through than I had thought would be the case”.

Tammy Barham has been promoted to Clinic Manager in the Clear Lake Clinic. Robert re-cently noted in a company-wide email that, “Tammy has been the lead at Clearlake for quite some time, and has earned the role of office manager by meeting the expectations we’ve set for day to day objectives with the clinic, and the operational numbers at Clearlake show it.”

Clinical Director, Stoney Sherrill recently received a phone call from the wife of another very satisfied ViaFit patient who praised the care they had received from North Clinic Orthotist | Prosthetist Nancy Stinson. Nancy went out of her way to care for her patient by taking a fracture boot to Kingwood Medical Center after hours (not on-call) following a scheduled 15 appointments in the office. Nancy was described as nice, thorough and informative, as well as a teacher, friendly, smilng and laughing, refreshing, excellent and caring.

Congratulations and thank you to the team members above and everyone who gives, 110% to their patients, coworkers and TMC|ViaFit. Lori, Theresa, Tammy and Nancy are great ex-amples of the spirit and drive that leads to great success.

jANUARy BIRTHDAyS

Valeriya (Lera) Semenova joins us as a business analyst. Lera just finished the international MBA program at Jacksonville State, and she has experience in computer science, programming and business analytics. She will be focused on streamlining our reporting and data manage-ment and evaluating application solutions based on our business needs. Lera is from Russia, and her undergraduate degree is in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.

Mark Moreno is a new member of our sales team. Mark has 5 years of outside DME sales experience primarily at Rotech Healthcare and was consistently a top ten sales rep, including being the #1 rep in Q1 of 2012. Mark graduated from Texas State University and is a sports fanatic and Texas native.

Jamal Pack is also a new member of our sales team. Jamal brings seven years of medical de-vice sales experience where he was recently ranked #6 and #8 in totals sales for the company’s primary products in 2011 at BSN Medical. In addition, from 2009 to 2012, he earned nine top sales rep of the month awards from 2009 to 2012. Jamal enjoys Crossfit and played Tight End at LSU.

Lance Mitchell is the newest addition to the Stock and Bill Account Management team. Lance has experience in account management and business development in several different indus-tries in addition to roles at the YMCA and Lifetime Fitness. He hails originally from Virginia, and has a BA in Religious Studies from North Carolina Wesleyan and an MA in Practical Theolo-gy from Regent University. Lance is a fan of the NY Giants, and enjoys watching Pro Wrestling.

Jack Sayler is our new Vice President of Sales. Jack is an operating partner at our parent company (New Capital Partners), and has been in sales leadership positions for over 20 years where he has had numerous successes especially in healthcare.
