WESTELL.COM General Description Westell’s Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) with an AISG connector is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE cell site performance by improving base station reciever sensitivity. With the TMAV-AWSPCS, operators will see fewer failed connection attempts, fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a compact, highly- reliable, and cost-effective package. The TMAV-AWSPCS provides full band operation for both the AWS and PCS bands, and with its diplexed BTS port, it is ideal for sites where feeder cables are shared. To support all types of deployment environments the gain for each frequency band on the TMAV-AWSPCS can be independently adjusted from 3 dB to 13 dB in 1 dB increments using AISG 2.0. The AISG connector allows operators to control RET antennas via a jumper cable from the TMA to the antenna, thus improving reliablity and reducing cabling costs. General DescriptionWestell’s Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS Tower Mounted Amplifier

(TMA) with an AISG connector is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE

cell site performance by improving base station reciever sensitivity.

With the TMAV-AWSPCS, operators will see fewer failed connection

attempts, fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for

VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a compact, highly-

reliable, and cost-effective package. The TMAV-AWSPCS provides full

band operation for both the AWS and PCS bands, and with its diplexed

BTS port, it is ideal for sites where feeder cables are shared.

To support all types of deployment environments the gain for each

frequency band on the TMAV-AWSPCS can be independently adjusted

from 3 dB to 13 dB in 1 dB increments using AISG 2.0. The AISG

connector allows operators to control RET antennas via a jumper cable

from the TMA to the antenna, thus improving reliablity and reducing

cabling costs.
