On the following pages, you will fi nd key information about our products, concepts and services. These descriptions provide a general impression of the variety of innovative products and solu-tions we offer and how they can be applied as well as the multitude of innovative details - our concept of engineering brought to the point. The products are not listed in any particular order or ranking. A summary of product, application and system standards can be found on a separate page at the beginning of each chapter. These summaries apply to all products for the area of application con-cerned and will help you to make an initial general selection before looking into the various product features in more detail. In addition, leafl ets for each product and solution as well as extensive technical documentation, RFQ wording, design tables and certifi cates can be downloaded from our website.
Our sandwich panels have especially important environmental and fi nancial benefi ts. Did you know that a 60 mm thick sandwich element with PIR insulation has about the same heat transfer coef-fi cient as a 1.72 m thick brick wall? Even when compared with a concrete stone wall, the sandwich panel can be approximately 700 mm thinner and still provide the same degree of insulation. Convenient handling of elements and the resulting short installation time make this a more cost-effective product than standard options. In addition, the products are fully manufactured by ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG or by certifi ed partners, from blanks to fi nished building elements.
In this way, we are able to ensure top quality at all stages of pro-duction. In all facets of production, we aim to provide as many benefi ts to our customers as possible. You will receive superior services and products designed using cutting edge technology. Isn't this a reliable foundation to build on?Thinking the future of steel

Hoesch isowand integral® FSI is an innovative façade system that has been designed to match the successful Hoesch isowand integral® sandwich panel system perfectly. In cooperation with an internationally renowned window system supplier, we have de-veloped this system featuring optimum thermal insulation which accurately fits the tongue and groove of Hoesch isowand integral® panels. The window can be harmoniously integrated into horizon-tally installed Hoesch isowand integral® without interrupting the joint line. This avoids isotherm line breaks in the wall, minimizing thermal bridges in connection areas. When designing the system, tight joints were our top priority. In this regard, the technical specifications and variants of joints and elements also apply to connection parts. Window connections are a very sensitive area. Therefore, we have worked out concepts with integral window systems. The profile geometry matches the joint and hence the panel joint. How you benefit: there is no loss of valuable heating or cooling energy. Product features• Standard designs prepared to install fixed glazing (24 mm, other dimensions available upon request)• A range of choices for powder coating, and different colours available for external and internal use• Can be ordered with fixtures for tilt and turn or hopper windows• Available with vertical and horizontal glazing bars• Attractive integration of windows into the complete façade• Suitable adapter profiles available for any thickness

Positive-locking jointDue to the snap effect the correct stop position of the ems-isolier® panels at the longitudinal joint of the elements is clearly defi ned. Snapping the elements into the joint ensures tightness of the joint.
Accuracy of fi tThe accuracy of fi t of the elements is ensured during production by the use of particular profi les for the joint, which considerably eases installation.
Adjustable snap-in effect The extent of the snap-in effect is defi ned by the length of the elements.
retention effectFor element lengths up to 4000 mm the snap-in effect ensures a
self-supporting structure without the need for an additional sub-structure. This is ideal for the construction of large cells or rooms. This retention effect arising from the snap-in joint is unique and is protected by patent.
Improved joint stabilityThe new joint geometry offers enhanced stability and gives the joint a more homogeneous visual appearance.
Behaviour of the snap-in joint in fi reTo ascertain the behaviour in fi re B-s1, d0, please contact our sales staff.
Please note:Presently, the snap-in joint is only available with an element thick-ness of 150 mm.

Hoesch® acousticPerforated elementsfor a variety of applications
Perforated Hoesch® trapezoidal sheets Stylish sound insulationOur perforated sheets are attractive products with application possibilities well beyond sound insulation. In single sheet design, perforated sheets are frequently used to provide shade, to secure parapets or to provide view protection. Other than in the case of expanded metal or stainless steel mesh, the smoothly perforated holes prevent dirt and dust from accumulating. The profi led sheets are also self-supporting and can be installed without a framework. Depending on the level of perforation, they can be very transparent and allow for exciting views.
Hoesch Siding Façade Planeel®
An ideal line, now also available with perforationMuch like a theatre curtain, these economically effi cient designs can be strategically staged to achieve thrilling light effects.
Hoesch® Liner Tray AcousticA solid foundationThis has all the benefi ts of Hoesch® liner trays plus excellent sound absorption features. Hoesch® Liner Tray Acoustic has been de-signed for indoor applications. For optimum edge protection of all perforated items, we recommend the new ZM EcoProtect alloy. Hoesch® 2000 Roof System Function-based technologywith added value
The Hoesch® 2000 Roof System can be used as a load-bearing roof element for conventional non-ventilated roofs and double-sheet roof structures. As prescribed in the offi cial approval, it can also be designed as a shear plane. It can be installed on steel, concrete or wooden substructures. Special cleats are provided for load transfer onto the load-bearing substructure, which explains the high load-bearing capacity of the Hoesch® 2000 Roof System. Special mounting strips ensure a perfect fi t for the cleats and help to fasten the trapezoi-dal panels of the roof system conveniently yet precisely without the need for laborious control measurements. Together with a low dead weight, this allows for fast, easy and economic installation even under unfavourable climatic conditions and irrespective of the building height.

Hoesch Additiv Floor®
Unlimited thinking
Hoesch Additive Floor® is the leading system for classic steel/rein-forced concrete construction in multi-storey buildings and car parks. Compared with solid fl oors, Hoesch Additive Floor® excels as a result of the shorter construction time, which is typical for steel construc-tion, as well as a clearly lower dead weight.
Smart guidingVisual surfaces which are factory-coated in different colours help to achieve an easy optical separation of different fl oor levels.

Today more than ever design engineers use prefabricated, high trapezoidal sheets for fl oor construction. This is just common sense, as these ensure short construction periods for the load-bearing structure in combination with large support distances. With additional reinforcement, Hoesch Additive Floor® complies with fi re resistance class F90 – altogether an innovative concept which has much to offer in the way of economic effectiveness and architec-tural design. The system is suitable for car parks as well as fl oors and intermediate ceilings for offi ces and commercial buildings.
Hoesch profi led panels are the basic components of the Hoesch Additive Floor®. They can be used either for steel/reinforced con-crete construction with girders or for classic steel constructions. Solid steel cleats welded in a crosswise direction onto the upper chords of the composite girders (patented) serve as a support for the profi led fl oor sheets. The fl oor is then completed by adding reinforcement and top concrete.

refl ectionsCollectionsCrazy for Colour
refl ectionsOne®
Boredom is now a thing of the past. Trend-setting steel engineering is no longer grey. Enjoy the freedom to choose from a broad range of colours – and push the limits of the mainstream. Whether you are working with RAL colours or other colour ranges, our refl ectionsOne® system allows innovative colours to harmoni-ously integrate buildings into the landscape while ensuring a long life span with a high grade coating. You will experience worlds of colour that have been specifi cally designed to match the location or purpose of the building concerned. Whether you are looking for prominent, eye-catching architecture or unobtrusive design in line with nature and the neighbourhood, our colours and coating systems will underpin your architectural concept and the purpose of commercial and industrial buildings. What is more, they ensure environmental compatibility, recyclability, and value for money. All popular tones are kept in stock, thus allowing short lead times.
Colours to match your individual requirementsLive up to your personal preferences. Whether you are avant garde or prefer a more down to earth design, you will fi nd the right coat-ing system to suit your taste. In addition to the better-known stand-ard versions, we offer a broad variety of special coatings. With ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe's high grade refl ectionsCollections, even more exclusive concepts for your choice of colour design are available. Convey your message with architecturerefl ectionsOne® is an innovative and appealing colour system that meets outstanding demands in terms of durability and helps to give steel a completely new dimension. 100 creative coordinated shades, arranged in 21 colour ranges allow even very large build-ings to harmoniously blend into their surroundings, giving a well-balanced overall impression.
refl ectionsCinc® – playing on steel Even though zinc spangles are basically a closed, highly rigid surface, they create a vivid colour effect, very much like varnish. The steel strip is fi rst provided with organic coating from the refl ectionsOne® range. In the second stage, a zinc-spangle pat-tern is printed on using basic colours. The fi nal clear lacquer layer ensures durable protection. The core concept behind this approach is that vivid surfaces look much more natural, even if they are used on very large surfaces which are structured into small units.

PLADUR® LPut an end to harassment
PLAdUr® L with anti graffi ti protectionGraffi ti is an unwelcome harassment that costs much to be removed. Depending on where they are located, façades are popular "objects of art" for sprayers. A product launched by ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG might however ease some ten-sion: this is a painted steel strip to which graffi ti cannot durably stick at all. ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe uses this strip to produce, among other items, steel façade elements. The anti graffi ti effect is achieved using a clear lacquer coating with a special additive. This prevents products such as paint from a spray can from react-ing with the surface, thus producing a durable composition. Graf-fi ti sprayers will not notice this effect at fi rst glance. The benefi ts become apparent however when it comes to cleaning the graffi ti. Without any laborious pre-treatment, the graffi ti can be easily re-moved simply using clear water.
Protective foilTo protect coated surfaces, the outside of the sheet is provided with protective foil. It protects elements from dirt and damage dur-ing production, shipping, storage and installation. The foil must be kept away from UV rays and removed completely during installa-tion, at the latest 6 weeks after the date of production. Optionally a protective foil can also be applied to the inside.
PLAdUr® L with self-cleaning effectThis works like the anti graffi ti effect, making dirt (exhaust gas, green dirt) easier to remove. The clean effect is achieved by using a clear lacquer coating with a special additive. This prevents dirt such as exhaust gas from reacting with the surface, thus produc-ing a durable composition. With little scrubbing, stubborn dirt is easily rinsed off using clear water.
