Old title (below); we decided to change what it said, its font and way it appeared on screen to be more professional and appealing to the audience. The new title (right) offers a more effective, bold and exciting atmosphere of which links in with the conventions of a thriller film better.

I changed ‘but it can be a lonely place’ to ‘one killer’ because this was shorter, quicker to read and created a more tense atmosphere for the audience.

This sentence was added in to add more suspense to the teaser and to highlight the narrative a bit more after we found from the audience feedback that the narrative was not explicitly clear before.

The main title of the teaser trailer and the film me and my group made changed the most from ‘encryption’ to ‘the search’ in the last two weeks of production. This is because ‘the search’ seemed more in keeping with a thriller film and linked with the narrative of the teaser a lot better. Despite it being a simple title, a lot of blockbuster films do this in order to give away their narrative and encourage people to see the film.
