LifeLight South Dakota Festival is Your FREE Labor Day Weekend Family Experience
With free admission it’s the perfect affordable end-of-summer vacation destination for the whole family
Sioux Falls, S.D. (July 2, 2013) – On August 30-September 1, the LifeLight South Dakota Festival will
return to its permanent festival grounds in Worthing, SD. The FREE Christian music festival promises a
weekend full of uplifting music and dynamic speakers for all who attend. The festival takes place annually
over Labor Day weekend, kicking off on Friday, August 30th
at 3:30pm and wrapping up on Sunday,
September 1st at 11:30pm. On-site camping is available, making LifeLight South Dakota the perfect
affordable summer vacation destination for the whole family.
The Festival is a family-friendly event with many activities for kids and adults alike with multiple stages, on-
site camping, shopping, speakers, festival food, children's games and activities, inflatables, arts area,
coffeehouse, extreme sports, motocross/BMX and skate park, late night dance parties and more!
This year marks the 16th Annual LifeLight South Dakota Festival, with seven (7) stages covering a wide
variety of music from contemporary mainstream and gospel to youth oriented hardcore and children’s
entertainment, there is something for everyone. Well-known Christian artists appearing include the
Newsboys, Flyleaf, Building 429, Audio Adrenaline, Plumb, For King & Country, Fireflight, Rhett Walker
Band, The City Harmonic, Thousand Foot Krutch, Disciple, For Today, Seventh Day Slumber and more.
Also, don’t miss the life-changing messages presented nightly by Bob Lenz, Josh Brewer and Alan Greene,
Evangelist and Founder of LifeLight.
A highlight of the festival is the Sunday Morning Community Worship Service on Sunday, September 1st at
10:30am with music by Rachelle Hope and the message by Alan Greene. This service has become the single
largest multi-denominational church service in the nation, with numerous churches relocating their services
to the festival grounds that morning.
