    1 CARGO LIMITATION (1-64-00)

    This section discusses the general limitations that applies to the cargo.

    The 85600-10 & 85600-17 CHS have been designed in accordance to Boeing’s Interface Control

    Drawing 851A0001 to be installed on the 737-800BCF main deck cargo compartment.

    1.1 UNIT LOAD DEVICE (ULD) LIMITATIONS

    The 85600-10 CHS is designed to accommodate the following ULDs:

    i. Size A pallets (88”X125”), and

    ii. Size K Pallet (60.4”X61.5”)

    As for the 85600-17 CHS it can accommodate the following ULDs:

    i. Size A pallets (88”X125”),

    ii. Size B Pallets (88”X108”) 463L Type,

    iii. Size M Pallets (96”X125”), and

    iv. Size K Pallet (60.4”X61.5”)

    All ULDs used must be certified under NAS 3610 and AS36100.

    1.2 ULD CENTER OF GRAVITY (CG) LIMITS

    The following subsections will discuss the CG limitations for the ULDs used with the Ancra CHS

    85600-10 & 85600-17.

    1.3 MAIN DECK LOADING

    The aircraft restraint system must be unimpaired and must be used.

    The ULD profile must ensure a sufficient clearance to the cargo door, cargo compartment lining and

    the ULD's loaded on the adjacent positions to enable it to be stowed in the aircraft without receiving

    or inflicting damage.

    Additional requirements have to be considered for loading of the ULD positions directly behind the

    rigid cargo barrier.

    2 CARGO LIMITATION (1-64-01)

    2.1 85600-10 CHS EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION LIMITATION

    This section provides position weight limitation when a single latch or restraint used to secure ULDs

    to the floor structure is missing or inoperative. The latches prevent ULD movement during flight which

    is critical for flight safety.

    A malfunction of any equipment is defined as damaged/inoperative or failed/missing equipment.

    If a malfunction of any equipment should occur, onloading and offloading should be carried out

    carefully to prevent damage to equipment, ULDs and/or aircraft structure.

    All malfunctioning equipment should be replaced as soon as possible.

    The tables that follow provide latch and/or restraint identification as well as the ULD load limitation

    that must be applied in case of missing or inoperative equipment at that single location.

    CAUTION 1: THIS SECTION IS APPLICABLE ONLY TO ANCRA’S 85600-10 CHS.

    CAUTION 2: FOR ULD POSITIONS WITH MAXIMUM LOADS, ALL RESTRAINTS

    3 CARGO LIMITATION (1-64-02)

    3.1 85600-17 CHS EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION LIMITATION

    This section provides position weight limitation when a single latch or restraint used to secure ULDs

    to the floor structure is missing or inoperative. The latches prevent ULD movement during flight which

    is critical for flight safety.

    A malfunction of any equipment is defined as damaged/inoperative or failed/missing equipment.

    If a malfunction of any equipment should occur, onloading and offloading should be carried out

    carefully to prevent damage to equipment, ULDs and/or aircraft structure.

    All malfunctioning equipment should be replaced as soon as possible.

    The tables that follow provide latch and/or restraint identification as well as the ULD load limitation
