MARK 4:26-34

Parable of the Growing Seed

LEADER 26-28: Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who

scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the

seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. The

earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then

the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens.

PEOPLE 29: And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests

it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”

Parable of the Mustard Seed

LEADER 30-32: Jesus said, “How can I describe the Kingdom of God? What

story should I use to illustrate it? It is like a mustard seed planted in the

ground. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of all garden

plants; it grows long branches, and birds can make nests in its shade.”

ALL TOGETHER 33-34: Jesus used many similar stories and illustrations to

teach the people as much as they could understand. In fact, in his public

ministry he never taught without using parables; but afterward, when he was

alone with his disciples, he explained everything to them.

“Did you know that Jesus Chris is Lord? Well, He is and He loves you and

wants to be your Lord and Savior. A lot of people want to be saved but

just don’t know how.”

Romans 10:9 says: “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord

and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be

saved.”

Are you willing to pray the Prayer of Salvation?

Lord Jesus, forgive me for all my sins, I believe that You died on the cross,

was buried, and on the third day God the Father raised You from the

dead. Right now, Lord Jesus, I open the door to my HEART and I receive

you, into my HEART, as my Lord and Savior.

According to the prayer you just prayed, where is the Lord Jesus?

Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you

well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. James 5:15

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus

Black History Tidbit

The Garden of Eden was described in Genesis as having been near a four-river

system in the region of the lands of Cush, Havilah, and Asshur, which today would

be near the borders of Eastern Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. The birthplace of

humanity was confirmed when the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia

in 1974. Science and the Bible are often at odds, but one thing both confirm is

that the birthplace of humanity was in East Africa. (Eden: The Biblical Garden

Discovered in East Africa by Gert Muller)

Matthew 6: 24,34: “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and

love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot

serve God and be enslaved to money. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for

vestibule and put signed form in church office. If you need access this week,

Minors are not allowed in the choir stand and/or around the musical

instruments unless accompanied by an adult. They should not attempt to

and/or play any musical instrument unless specific permission has been given

by the Minister of Music (Bro. Carl Johnson) or the Pastor (Rev. Jeffery Clark).

Price Chapel has and continues to invest in maintaining our instruments and

appreciates all you can do to help us protect our investments. Thanks! Pastor
