• Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972

• The Tarrant Board of Education, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, sex, religion, national origin or age in programs, activities, or employment.

• If you feel you have been discriminated against it is important that you take the appropriate steps to immediately inform your principal/supervisor, Director of Title IX and/or the Superintendent if you feel that you experienced or observed a problem which might need administrative attention.

Procedures

• There is an appropriate way to voice your charge. Tarrant’s Policy and Procedure Handbook can direct you to the most expedient way to voice your concerns. See COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES, Personnel GEM or Personnel GEM-R. You should be able to find a copy of our policies in the school library.
