Youth4Jobs Foundation is a largest organization in the country with 21 skilling centres training and linking persons with disabilities to Jobs. In last 5 years 11,500 Persons with Disabilities are trained and many of them were linked to job opportunities. People enrolled are with Orthopaedic Disability, Speech Hearing Impairment, Low vision and Visual Impaired. Two coaching centres for the visually impaired are in Hyderabad and Delhi preparing candidates for competitive exams. Youth4Jobs also works closely with 300+ companies to build a more inclusive workforce with enabling environment for people with disabilities to succeed. It provides end to end solutions to companies in hiring persons with disabilities. Youth4Jobs have received many national and international awards for its pioneering work. On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, The President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind and Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot presented the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan)-2017to YOUTH4JOBS FOUNDATION at VIGYAN BHAVAN. In a pioneering way a new program “ABLE+ COLLEGE CONNECT” is getting launched. The aim of the program is to provide need based employability training to students with disabilities enrolled in the Colleges, Universities, Institutions and connect them to companies. The program is supported by JP Morgan Chase.

The program is uniquely designed understanding the competencies required by the companies and student competencies. Technology will be integrated to create online

platform to reach out large number of candidates enrolled in various educational institutions in the country. The program has four parts to it:

1. Awareness and Information session for the faculties and principal

2. Diagnostic test or mock assessment as per the companies recruitment process is been designed to assess the students

3. Based on the mock assessment results, short term Employability Training program will be delivered to the students

4. On successful completion of trainings the students will be connected to the companies employment opportunities

The formal launch of the program was on 15th November 2017 in Hyderabad. We are happy to start with the first pilot in Telangana in association with TASK which will be then replicated in different cities in India.
