The prodigy are a group from a village called Braintree in Essex, England that have become world famous over the years for producing unique Electronic music. Here are a few examples to demonstrate their unique sound. Over the years and a variety of albums their sound has evolved. They have gone through a variety of genres in the electronic music style.

1992: Here is their first track from the album "The Experience" released in 1992. This track (called "Out of Space") is in the Genre of "Old-School Jungle" fused with reggae. It is a highly regarded track and still stands as one of their most famous tracks to date. Their signature of speeded up vocals has been incorporated into many other artists music over the years:

Here is another track released off the same album in 1992. The sampling and repetitive themes made the way to develop modern Techno style (and dancing) we know today:

2009: To demonstrate the evolution of the unique sound that The Prodigy has created. Here is their most famous track to date, which I guarantee you will have heard. As you can see by listening there are still remnants of The Prodigy's signature Hi-Speed vocals is still there:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMVTKOoy1uk

2009: This has quite a lot of the prodigy's unique style (like the high speed vocals). The prodigy have always used break beat drum patterns in their tracks, which is perfect for the club and makes the music more interesting to listen to than the standard "four-to-the-four" drum pattern that most club dance music has in it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncaNlxvTFzg

M.A.R.R.S, was a one off recording act from 1987 (from London), formed by the groups of A.R Kane, and colourbox. M.A.R.R.S only released one song: 'Pump up the volume'. This song was a hit immediately and it is speculated that this song consists of only samples from other songs (but not known as a fact). Nobody knows much information about the temporary group known as M.A.R.R.S. Only the song that they left us is what is remembered:

The song uses heavy sampling, and repetitive themes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGPhUr-T6UM
