Technique: Rouching

Method:

In this I placed a thick white thread at the end of the clothand then rolled the cloth and the thread completely. Then I

squeezed the cloth from both sides by holding the thread.




Fabric: Medium Silk

Technique: Spiral

Method:

In this I put a medium sized marble on the edge of the cloth

and by holding the marble I rotated the cloth creating aspiral.

Method:

I folded the cloth diagonally at least 3 times and then tied the

edge of the cloth with a white thread.

I tied the cloth from different sides with a white thread.

A small sized marble was placed on the cloth. Then I rotatedthe marble with the cloth in a spiral. To keep the spiralsteady I tied a knot around it with a white thread.

I used round wooden balls of different sizes and placed themon the cloth. Then I covered the wooden balls with the clothand tied them with a thread individually. I also used clamps

on the cloth.

In this I tied a knot with the cloth from the middle.

In this method I placed a white thread on the cloth androlled it completely. I made sure the threads were comingout from both sides of the cloth. Then I squeezed the cloth very tightly from both the sides while holding the threads.

I put a white thread on the cloth diagonally and rolled thefabric completely. Then the cloth was squeezed tightly from both sides while holding the threads.

Method:

After wetting the fabric I folded the cloth in a square shapeand put few clamps on it. I did not tie it.

In this method I tied the cloth from the middle and the endas well.

After wetting the cloth I rotated it inwards creating a spiral.Then I tied it with a white thread.

For this method I folded the cloth first in one direction andthen I put on several clamps on it.

I folded the wet cloth diagonally and then I put differenttypes of clamps on it to create this effect.

Method:

First I made boxes with a pencil on the dry silk. Then Istarted stitching making sure that the thread I was using wasthick. I made small stitches. After completing the stitching I

pulled on the threads and squeezed the stitched sides of thecloth together for this kind of result.

I made a flower pattern on the dry cotton cloth with a penciland stitched it with a thick thread. Then I tight pulled thethread to create folds on the stitched areas.

In this particular technique I made few spirals on the dry cotton with a pencil. Then I stitched the drawn areas.

I folded the cloth in a triangular shape. Then I tied it with a white thread.

I kept on folding the wet silk until it became a tiny square.Then I put on few clamps on all the sides.

In this I tied the cloth with a white thread from the middle 4times. I left almost an inch of space between.
