Rector: For tonight only, we will observe the retreat phase of the Cursillo. We will ask that when I ring the bell in a short while, you begin to observe the retreat phase of Cursillo and maintain silence until after morning prayers. After greeting your roommates, Let us take advantage of this time in silence to reflect on our life and what has been said so far in the Cursillo. Tomorrow the bell will ring at approximately 6:30 am. You will be given about ½ hour to get ready. There will be coffee downstairs in the morning for those of who are early risers. A second bell will ring when it is time to assemble in chapel for mass. We will not start until everyone is present. Please remember to bring your Pilgrims guide with you.

do God's work, one is presented with a cross--a Mission Cross. When they are given the cross, whoever is presenting the cross (team member or spiritual advisor) will say "CHRIST IS COUNTING ON YOU." They reply, "AND I ON HIM."

† At that time, they may feel free to make a few remarks to their new community. Emphasize that they should BE BRIEF not feel obliged to say anything. Explain 3 minutes equals 1 1/2 hours

† Explain that you will be thanking everyone in advance for all they did to support us, so please do not spend time saying Thank-you. (Select 2 candidates to be called upon first to set the tone/pace)

† Remind them that the closing is a spiritual meeting.† Explain sponsorship, and that they should not sponsor someone until at least one year after

this Cursillo.
