Thursday 26th February 2015 School Lunch Patterns Can parents decide and stick to a lunch pattern for a half termly block. We are unable to accommodate changes to these patterns on a daily basis. If you decide to take your child home for lunch they must return promptly. Thank You World Book Week 2015 is here. Starting on Tuesday 3rd March - Friday 6th March. Are you ready to join Harry Potter and enter Hogwarts? Let the magic and mystery of the week take you on an adventure to remember forever... Starting on Tuesday next week, the Harry Potter themed week commences. Your child will enjoy a range of activities linked to these children's novels and will be amazed by a guest visitor on Wednesday! What's more, we ask that your child dresses up in Harry Potter themed clothes (or another character from the book) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Please note, your child MUST be in full school uniform on Monday 2nd March because the school photos are taking place on this day. Here at Beech Hill we have a positive reading culture where all our children enjoy reading. It would be fantastic to see children accessing the Harry Potter books during this week and challenging themselves at school and at home to read as much as possible. Please encourage your child to read every night. The local libraries have copies of all Harry Potter books - get yourselves there to enjoy them! School Photos - Monday 2nd March Please can children come to school on Monday in full school uniform. Any families having photos taken can you please arrive at 8.15 prompt. Thank you
