A reading was giv- en and a local Muslim all-girls school choir performed for the party. Later a range of hot food and deserts were pro- vided, including lamb machbous, batata harra and cold mezze. A henna artist, arts and crafts and a photo booth were also enjoyed by guests and the activities were well received by all. Nurses and staff were delighted to give out presents to the children in their care. The presents were well received by the children and the nurses were especially happy to share in such a happy occasion with their patients and families. The competition is inspired by the 90’s hit Japanese

competition show, Takeshi’s Castle, which was popular in the Middle East with its Arabic dubbing. Participants were given 30 seconds to enter a maze and search the boxes placed in its different chambers for prizes.
