(n)Trade is a PKI-enabled web application which uses digital certificate to secure your transaction over the internet . It provides high security to the data submitted by you for RCMC application. To carry out data privacy and integrity, (n)Trade requires an ActiveX component to be installed on your machine. You may be experiencing an ActiveX download issue. Please see the following links to determine exactly what may be causing the issue with your system and to learn how to fix the problem.

Why this problem happened ________________________________________________ You may not have administrator rights on your computer, your Web browser may not support ActiveX controls, or your Internet Explorer settings may prevent the installation or use of the ActiveX control.

Allow ActiveX to install ________________________________________________

Click the yellow Information Bar at the top of the page.

Choose Install ActiveX Control....

In the security warning dialog box that appears, click Install.

Pre-requisites to install/enable component ________________________________________________________________

• Operating System : Windows 2000 to Windows XP, Professional, SP2, Vista, Windows 7.

• Internet Explorer version 6.0,7.0,8.0. • Login/User of your machine has Administrator rights:

You must have administrator rights to install programs on your computer. To find out whether you are an administrator on your computer, check with your organization's system administrator or the person who set up your computer.



• Yahoo Toolbar should not be installed. • Google Toolbar should not be installed. • If eToken is used for signing & verification then eToken driver should be

installed. • A Desktop computer with a minimum of 64MB of RAM.

Internet Explorer and/or Operating System Settings _____________________________________________

Disable Pop-up Blocker

• Popup blocker should be disabled. So please allow popup windows by selecting “Turn-Off • Pop-Up Blocker” setting in the Tools menu. You can also check in the Tools menu > Internet Options

> Privacy tab. Untick the box for “Block Pop-Ups”.



Open Internet Explorer => Click on Tools menu => Click on Internet Options => Click on Security

In Security tab => Select Internet => Click on Custom level Button



In the “Security Settings” window, please tick enable in the following options:

• Automatic prompting of ActiveX controls=> Set as Enable • Download signed ActiveX controls => Set as Enable • Download unsigned ActiveX controls => Set as Enable • Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe => Set as Enable • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins => Set as Enable • Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting => Set as Enable ==> Press OK button and close

all the windows and also Internet Explorer.

• Restart Internet Explorer and try out the link given to you again. After 3-4 minutes you will receive a prompt that Component Installed successfully. Verify installation status

You can verify the ActiveX component installation status by login into nTrade system again. System should prompt for Digital Certificate selection dialog if ActiveX is installed successfully on your machine.



If you receive following messages, it means that your machine does not have any valid Digital Certificate installed. Please install a valid Digital Certificate and login again. Know more about Digital Certificate

You may also verify the same by following below mentioned steps.

• Open (Internet Explorer) • Click on Tools menu • Click on Internet Options • Click on Settings button • Click on (View Objects) button

• in this window please find one “PMS.NGDEMO” component installed on your computer.

Additional Settings for Windows Vista

Follow step by step instructions as below .


• Open Internet Explorer • Go to tools Menu • Click the Internet Options • Click Security Tab • Untick enable protected mode.(This option is only present with Vista and Windows 7.) • Click Apply button to save changes.



Click on Start Menu.

Click on Control Panel.



Select Classic View.

Click on "User Accounts"



Click on "Turn User Account Control On or Off".

Uncheck the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.



Click on OK button.

System will give you message to restart the computer , click on Restart now to apply to changes.

Error Observes by users while using Windows Vista
