During the Holocaust, millions of Jews were sent to Death Camps, including
non-Jews who did not match the Aryan race
The Aryan Race originally means anyone that is a direct descendant
of the original Indo-Europen Language
To be of Aryan descent, one usually has:
Blue EyesBlond HairWhite Skin
But after Nazi’s began using the word Aryan, it has come to mean
the “Perfect Race”
Germans went to extremes to keep the German people perfect. They
would kill the mentally ill, and often sterilize the mentally
handicapped
During the Holocaust, several groups were persecuted, including: • Jews• Disabled• Gypsies• Homosexuals• Slavs• Poles• Jehovah’s Witness• Freemasons• Soviet POWs
Before they were sent to concentration camps, and while
they were there, these groups had to wear badges according to their
group.
This was done so they could easily be spotted from each other and
other Germans
