Business Growth CoachingBuilding a business is a science. Many entrepreneurs

Public Speaking CoachingIf you’re among the millions of professionals who

would rather swim among hungry piranha than

speak to a room-full of people, it’s time to stop

costing yourself opportunities. To many, the art of

communication doesn’t come naturally. Thankfully,

it’s a learnable skill. I work with entrepreneurs, CEO’s,

Brainstorming SessionsLet’s face it, getting in a room for a few hours to beat

an idea around doesn’t require a tactical approach.

You need a well-rounded ‘sounding board’ with an

entrepreneurial spirit. That’s where I come in. If

you’re considering a major change in your startup or

business, have me in for a brainstorming session. We’ll

go through the Pro’s, Con’s, and more Murphy’s Law

scenarios than you can shake a stick at. I’ll analyze

your business, industry, and familiarize myself with

potential market-driven barriers.

As the creative juices flow, we’ll:

• Formulate revenue opportunities

• debate practical strategies

• analyze potential incomes

• develop ‘Next Steps’ toward business growth

Brainstorming sessions include:

• Business analysis

• One (1) brainstorming session

Business DevelopmentREVENUE AND PROFIT ENHANCEMENT KEYNOTES

Page 11: Thom Fox Service Overview and Keynote Topics

It’s not rocket science. Providing the

highest value (in exchange for a

handsome profit) results in a successful

business. Pop Quiz: Does that statement

accurately describe your company?

Think about it. When was the last time

you had a real discussion with a

customer? An open-ended dialogue

where they told why they loved about

you… as well as what they thought you

could do better. Tapping into customer’s

frustrations, motivations, and decision-

making processes unlocks the hidden

potential trapped in every business. How

to Build a Thriving Business borrows

leading-edge concepts from the

entrepreneurial ecosystem to increase

revenue, and profit, through customer

development strategies.

Participants will learn how to:

• Build a hypothesis-based business

model

• Predict customer purchasing behaviors

• Determine successful sales and

marketing messaging

• Become indispensable to customers

Does the following sound familiar? You’re

constantly on the hunt for funding. You

manage limited resources and small

staffs. And, you focus on making

significant changes to the community.

Believe it or not, these pain points are

similar throughout nonprofits and startup

companies across the country. Lessons for

Nonprofits from the World of Startups

shares how entrepreneurs achieve

sustainability despite these tremendous

challenges. The philosophy of doing more

with less has never been more alive, and

the entrepreneurial ecosystem has

developed a formula that can help every

nonprofit thrive.

Nonprofit professionals will learn:

• Creating a strategic brand is critical

• Hiring ‘right’ is better than hiring ‘a

body’

• Growth takes focus

• You’re more like a business than you

think

Appropriate for:

You may think employees should be

grateful to get a paycheck, but they’re

dreaming of telling you to deposit that

logic where the sun don’t shine. Each

year companies lose billions of dollars in

productivity and profits because of the

‘Us vs. Them’ mentality. How is it we’ve

come to forget employees are human

beings with similar hopes and aspirations.

They want to contribute to growth and

be rewarded for their efforts. When you

view employees as assets, you harness a

momentum few forces in the universe

can stop.

This discussion will help small and mid-

sized businesses:

• Drive productivity gains

• Accelerate revenue growth

• Outperform the competition

• Retain top talentAppropriate for:

Personal DevelopmentINSPIRATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL KEYNOTES

Page 15: Thom Fox Service Overview and Keynote Topics

Thom Fox is an entrepreneur,

philanthropist, and radio show

personality; however, his life started out

on an altogether different path. He

battled a variety of substances

throughout his adolescence; the most

challenging among them PCP. Under its

influence, Thom has been stabbed, shot

at, and left for dead on a handful of

occasions… smiling every bit of the way.

Soon enough, he found himself

abandoned and on the fast track to

oblivion. What happened next is nothing

short of inspiring.

In this discussion, Thom shares how:

• People helped him grow from

rummaging dumpsters for food to a

community leader

• Overcoming learning disabilities

allowed him to deliver educational

programs to over 2.5+ million Americans

• The loneliness of battling depression

and suicidal thoughts nearly destroyed

him

• Developing the philosophy of ‘It takes a

community to build an economy’

transformed his life

front of a group of people and replied,

“Nope! No Way! Never!” Many

charismatic speakers started out that

way, and Thom Fox is one of them.

Almost 20 years ago Thom was shoved

on a stage and told to ‘figure it out’ – so

he did. Since then, he has conducted

over 1,200 workshops and keynote

addresses nationwide. In this workshop,

Thom shares how he overcame shyness

and gained the confidence to speak in

front of over 43,000 audience members

throughout his career.

• Overcome the fear of speaking

• Develop a compelling story

• Navigate the three most important

parts of a presentation

the lifeblood of your career. The

relationships you build along the way

have the possibility of evolving into

opportunities – some professional, others

personal. Understandably, networking

can be a slow process. Relationships take

time - you have to build trust and allow

people the opportunity to understand

your value. Thankfully, these opportunities

are happening all around us – all the

time; you just have to be ready to

engage.

This seminar will help participants:

• Develop a comprehensive networking

strategy

Economic DevelopmentKEYNOTES TO BUILD A STRONGER COMMUNITY

Page 21: Thom Fox Service Overview and Keynote Topics

Each day, thousands of students

prematurely exit the American education

system; many of whom have grown

disenchanted with the likelihood of

economic success. However, passionate

business professionals, entrepreneurs,

educators, and dedicated volunteers

have mobilized to encourage a new

generation of leaders. Connecting these

individuals to students is transformative,

and the sooner we do so, the larger the

impression we’ll make on the lives of

young people. This seminar discusses

strategies to develop, and cultivate,

entrepreneurial ecosystems within your

community.

This workshop provides information about:

• The real power of mentorship

• Modern entrepreneurship

• Connecting with existing initiatives

• Funding entrepreneurial programs

Appropriate for:

Hundreds of thousands of jobs are being

vacated as one generation heads into

retirement. Those jobs remain

unoccupied as the next generation, to

this point, hasn’t risen up to fill the void.

Our ‘get famous quick’ society of Reality

TV and social media stardom have lead

many young adults to unrealistic

expectations about success. Just like

generations gone past, hard work,

dedication, and the wherewithal to be a

lifelong learner remains the recipe for a

rich and rewarding life. This seminar

discusses strategies for building

collaborative relationships between

schools and businesses to meet workforce

demand.

Participants will learn how to:

• Bridge the gap between academia

and business

• Embrace community support

• Build strong student-focused

partnerships

• Use Junior Achievement as a conduit

for success
