ANNOUNCEMENTS   

The Department of Defense no longer sponsors the Automated Housing Referral Network (AHRN). Installation Management Command Europe housing officials want to remind customers that the Off‐Post Housing website at www.imcom‐europe.army.mil/OPH has an accurate list of available private rental housing listings that are managed by the local housing offices. The units listed on AHRN may no longer be available or customers may be liable for paying a finder's fee. For more information about finding off‐post housing, contact your local housing office. 

 

In the past seven months, more than 100 U.S. Army Europe license plates have been lost or stolen in the USAG‐Rheinland‐Pfalz area of responsibility. The theft of license plates is a crime that can be avoided by ensuring plates are secured properly to the vehicle using screws or bolts. It is also recommended that drivers park their vehicle in a well‐lit area or in a closed garage if possible. If you have had a license plate(s) stolen or lost report it immediately to your local military police desk.

The Arts & Crafts Center in Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne will be closed until Feb. 1 for annual inventory. The center will re‐open 11 a.m. Feb. 4 (closed on Mondays). For more info, call DSN 483‐6509, civ. 0631‐411‐6509.

Department of Army mandated Equal Employment Opportunity training available for all DA employees and military and civilian supervisors of federal employees. Managers and supervisors must receive classroom training annually and employees must have classroom training every other year and complete the online training in alternating years. Supervisor and employee classes are available 9 a.m. (supervisors) and 1 p.m.(employees) Feb. 5 in the EEO Conference Office, Bldg.2925, Stairwell A, Pulaski Barracks. To register call DSN 493‐4277. Limited seating. 

 

The Kapaun Vehicle Registration team will work with reduced staffing for the next several weeks. This may cause longer wait times for customers. Community members who need to register a vehicle should plan accordingly. 

  RECREATION/FMWR

       Super Bowl XLVIII Parties  

The Kazabra Club on Vogelweh will host a Super Bowl 9 p.m. Feb. 2. Enjoy games, drawings, food, a frozen t‐shirt contest, prizes and more. A $10 entrance fee includes the buffet, giveaways, and stadium dogs. Open to ID cardholders and their guests, ages 18 and up. Tickets will be available online via Webtrac. For more information call DSN 489‐7261; civ. 0631‐536‐7261.  

 

Super Bowl party at Sembach CAC Warrior Zone 9 p.m. Feb. 2. Free snacks will be provided. Madden video game tournament with prizes begins at 6 p.m. No registration required. Open to service

  BAUMHOLDER‐SPECIFIC   

The Mountaineer Fitness Center on Smith Barracks is now open 9 a.m.‐5 p.m. on Saturdays. The center is also open 5 a.m.‐9 p.m. Monday‐Friday, noon‐8 p.m. on training and U.S. holidays and closed Sundays.
