Step 1 – the panel

Trim the panel pictures to these measurements label each picture as you cut them (W x L):

1) 14¼” x 7” 2) 6¼” x 20½” 3) 5¼” x 13½” 4) 9¼” x 13½” 5) 20¾”x 10” 6) 11¼” x 10” 7) 9½” x 10”

Cut four from Fabric 2 e. 15¼” x 2” f. 9” x 3½” g. 9” x 4¼” h. 8¼” x 3½”

Cut five from Fabric 3 i. 7” x 2¾” j. 10” x 2” k. 9¼” x 2” l. 15” x 1¾” m. 13½” x 1½”

The quilt top should now measure 33” x 33”. If your seam allowances aren’t a perfect ¼”, and your top isn’t this size, cut the border strips to your measurements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Step 4 – border From the border fabric cut four 3” x WOF strips.

Subcut two at 33” and sew to the sides. Subcut two at 38” and sew to the top and bottom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Step 5 – quilt and bind Quilt as desired – an allover design, meandering, spaced diagonal or straight lines, outlining the pictures in the numbered blocks. From the binding fabric cut four 2½” x WOF strips. Join end to end with diagonal seams. Press in half WST. Stitch to the front of the quilt and fold to the back. Either hand or machine stitch to finish the binding.

f] Sew the ⌂ unit to the ☼ unit. Add the ■ and the units.

g] Sew the unit to the top of the combined units from f].
