It won’t be anywhere as professional or in depth but here it is. John, we hope you get over that flu. La Beach Fish n Chips Good turn out, casual cruze and everyone seemed to enjoy the fish n chips. This was new on our calendar this season but it was nice to do something low key and get the cars out on the road. Red Centre Nats- Alice Springs really knows how to put on an event. Everyone should at least try to get there once. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to attend this year but last year we had an absolute ball. Everything from the street cruze to the Elite Show n Shine there is something for every car enthusiast. It was unfortunate that the event made news for all the wrong reasons, with spectators at the burn out pad getting burnt. We wish them a speedy recovery. All Holden Day The CHCC and the Darwin Commodores combined their efforts for this great day. Our guest speaker was Phil Brock, brother of legend Peter Brock. It was great to have him attend our event from interstate and have a few words to say. We had approximately 60 cars on display and Alan and Julie did a fantastic job putting it all together raising almost $4,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation. Well done!

Hi Everyone, John’s been under the weather lately and l thought I’d jump in and say a few words on his behalf. It won’t be anywhere as professional or in depth but here it is. John, we hope you get over that flu. La Beach Fish n Chips – Good turn out, casual cruze and everyone seemed to enjoy the fish n chips. This was new on our calendar this season but it was nice to do something low key and get the cars out on the road. Red Centre Nats- Alice Springs really knows how to put on an event. Everyone should at least try to get there once. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to attend this year but

last year we had an absolute ball. Everything from the street cruze to the Elite Show n Shine there is something for every car enthusiast. It was unfortunate that the event made news for all the wrong reasons, with spectators at the burn out pad getting burnt. We wish them a speedy recovery. All Holden Day – The CHCC and the Darwin Commodores combined their efforts for this great day. Well done!

A huge thank you to all our Sponsors on the day. Please acknowledge their contributions in the attached table.

AGM – On the 24th of September we have our

Annual General Meeting. All postion’s will be vacant and up for nomination. We are looking for members to put their hand up and help out. We currently have 110 Financial members, surely we have a handful of people to help out and make the work load easy. This meeting will also give our members the chance to vote on minor changes/wording of our club constitution. We feel it has come time to review a small section of the constitution in line with current club requirements. Please come along and have your say. At the end of the meeting of course we have the bbq and we’re able to watch the bikes on the track if you’re interested. If anyone who is attending could RSVP as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated for catering purposes. Well not much more to say, hope John’s back on board soon. Liz
