Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) recently saw theestablishment of this new airline which is apartnership between the Ivorian state that holds65% of the shares with 35% being held by astrategic partner made up of Air France (20%)and Aérienne de Participation-Côte d’Ivoire (15percent).

The airline holding company represents theAga Khan Fund for Economic Development(AKFED). The shareholders’ agreement andarticles of the airline set the initial capital at CFAF2,5-billion (US$4,9-million) which will beincreased in the short term to CFAF 25-billion(US$48,6-million).
