THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER - APRIL 15, 2018
PRAYER INTENTIONS/VISITS/ANOINTINGS - You can request prayer intentions for those who are sick, those admitted to the hospital or wanting an anointing or just a visit and we will pray for them at our daily and weekend Masses. To make a request please contact Father Lukee or Cheryl, call the parish office at 863-6113 or 845-5180 or drop a note in collection basket at any of our parishes. Please note that even when requested, hospitals do not always contact the parish and if they do it is still the responsibility of a family member to give us permission to mention their name in our prayer requests. Also, please let us know when prayer requests are no longer needed.
WEDDINGS - If you are planning a wedding, please call the parish office to set up an appointment with Father Lukee. You need to meet with Father to set a date. Arrangements should be made at least six months in advance.
BAPTISMS - If this is your first child you are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class. If you have other children and it has been more than two years since you attended a class, you will need to attend class again. Watch bulletin for date of next class. Baptisms can be scheduled ANY Saturday at St. Kilian or Sunday at St. Thomas or St. Joseph. Call Cheryl Maricque at 217-8164 for further information.

2018 BISHOP’S APPEAL
Can This Marriage Be Saved?
A wedding is an exciting event! The anticipation and
emotion of the Mass and reception is wonderful, but the
really hard work comes after you walk up the aisle as two
lives joined together as one.
When couples face problems in their marriage, Catholic
Charities offers help. Here, couples can work on issues
caused by poor communication, financial stress, family is-
sues, infidelity, resentment, and other challenges in their
relationship. Following an initial assessment, a certified
therapist will work with couples to develop goals for their
relationship, and tools to practice newly learned skills.
Counseling ends when a couple decides their goals have
been reached.
Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal allows Catholic Charities
to promote healthy marriages. They have five counseling
offices in northeastern Wisconsin, bringing their services
close to people in need. Make your gift today - Bishop’s Ap-
peal forms are available at your parish.
Our 2018 Bishop’s Appeal as of 4/10/2018
St. Thomas the Apostle - $26,960 Goal - $36,628
St. Joseph - Goal - $16,395 Goal - $25,163
St. Kilian - $12,494 Goal - $13,406

!!!!!!The Gospel reading today insists on the reality of the risen humanity of Our Lord.
!!!!!Our faith does not rest on fables, nor is the risen Jesus a phantom. Graciously, to strengthen their faith, to bring them peace, and to give them great joy, Jesus shows his followers his now glorious sa-cred wounds. And we, who inherit that faith and peace and joy, pray, ‘Lord, let your face shine on us’ (psalm response)--for the Father’s glory is reflected in the face of his Christ. ‘Look towards him and be radiant’, the psalmist urges us. !
Jesus’ first words to his apostles were, ‘Peace be with you’. He is the God of peace and he himself is our peace, and he was once again with them. As he speaks, there falls a great calm--be it upon the troubled sea or the troubled human spirit. To have his peace we need to reject all anxiety, casting all our care upon him. And what we deeply desire for ourselves we pray for others--that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ.
