Father Brian Harrington, Pastor
The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community. It is important to reaffirm the importance of the priesthood of Jesus Christ
Please pray for our parish family members who are sick: Ella Mae LeBlanc, Leslie Douet, Susie M. Viewing daily & weekend Masses!
Even though we have moved back into Phase 2 of the quarantine lift, please note that Father Harrington is still live streaming the daily masses at the regularly scheduled times of Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday at 7:00 a.m., and the weekend Mass at 9:00 a.m. Sunday on Facebook Live to view live or at your convenience. Once the Mass has been recorded, Father Harrington will insert a link on our church website (olpscoteau.com) for you and your family to view at your convenience. Please refer to our Website and Facebook page for all other information you may need. As notifications are sent to us from Bishop Deshotel we will then inform our parish family of all events. In accordance with the governor’s orders to move into phase 3, we will still continue to have our 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday afternoon. The dispensation for attendance to Holy Mass is still in affect.
God’s Little Housekeepers Every year our church saves a huge amount of money by having families or friends give a couple of hours about 3 times a year to clean our church. We will be adding new names of individuals when we redo the schedule for 2021. If you feel you may be called to this ministry, please call the church office to add your name to this new schedule.

Our Faith … Our Family …
Our Future Legacy … Please note that our 2nd Collection for our Debt Reduction will be held next weekend. If you are able to assist in helping to reduce our debt as quickly as possible, our collection for this repeats monthly on the 3rd Sunday of each month. After completion of our church renovations we incurred this debt from our new parking lot project, purchasing the Williams house for our office, and purchasing the property adjacent to our cemetery.
Thanks for everyone's generosity in November!
