Questions for personal reflection based on
this Sunday’s Readings…
Repent and Believe
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”
(Mark 1:14–15)
What part of your life is Jesus calling you to change right
now?
In what way do you think you can be a better follower of
Jesus?

WITH PARISH SYMPATHY Our prayers are requested for James Kersey whose Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 17. May the Risen Christ embrace him in His eternal love and peace, and give His comfort and consolation to his family and friends. Our parish sympathy is extended to them in their loss.
CCD NEWS - There are NO classes next week due to the Catholic Schools Week Open House at Holy Rosary School. Classes will resume on Sunday, February 4.
FIRST PENANCE: Parish congratulations and best wishes to the 18 children who are confessing their sins for the first time this weekend (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. May the grace and forgiveness of Christ in this sacrament give them strength for their journey in the faith, and may all of us be an example of our own love for and use of the Sacrament of Penance.
PIEROGI MAKING – Next Saturday, January 27, we will be preparing and balling potatoes for pierogi; and on Sunday, January 28, we will be making the pierogi. No experience is necessary! Students are welcome and service hours signed. The more the merrier! Please consider coming to offer some of your time.
