THIRD GRADE NOVEMBER
2017Welcome
It is the holidays again - the time for endless tidings of cheer, helpings of sweetly spiced morsels, social events, and panicky night shopping. Calendars fill up, while wallets empty out. Guest rooms fill up, while basement boxes empty out. It is a flurry of red, white, and green, a spectacle set to smells of peppermint, ginger, and pine.
Still, in silent corners of the night, hidden away like treasure, all is calm. All is bright. There is a virgin whose infant is precious. There is a babe swaddled and mild. Amidst the bugles and blinking, above the rumble and grunts of ornery cars, He sleeps in heavenly peace. Angels have heard on high, yet will we come and adore Him? He is waiting to be recognized as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords on this, the holiday of holidays. After all, He is what Christmas is all about!
