Management education in India through decades has developed haphazardly. Many small and big institutions have mushroomed even without adequate infrastructure and are churning out unemployably management graduates. Latest survey shows that out of 0.96 million MBA/PGDM graduates passing out form more than 3000 institutions, only 7% are employable. Although most of the management institutions impart basic knowledge, yet the skills and the attitude most required for being successful in managing the resources are hardly developed among these aspiring managers.

Selection ProcedureAdmission to MBA Programme will be made as per the rules preprescribed by Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow/AICTE.

Eligibility

Recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline of minimum 3 Yrs duration and must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the Qualifying Examination.

Highlights of the APJAKTU: Rules of UPSEE

Ÿ Only for students who have passed graduation from UP colleges or whose parents are domiciles of UP.

Ÿ It is an online objective type test with negative marking, minimum marks are 25% (20% for SC/ST category), generally held in April.

Ÿ Allotment of seats is through counseling which considers merit and preference and is final.

Ÿ Certain percentage of seats available in management quota through CMAT (conducted by AICTE) scores. Also for the NRI quota.

Ÿ Vacant MGT/NRI seats are filled as per Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University , Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Rules on the basis of UPSEE, 2017

Scholarship

In keeping with the national ethos, IAMR is proud to honour the defense personnel by granting scholarships to their wards upto an extent of 10% of the basic fees for doing MBA at IAMR.

Application Form

Candidates are required to register at IAMR through an Application Form which can be purchased from the Institute's counter or can be downloaded from the Institute's Website www.iamr.ac.in and submitted along with a DD of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of IAMR, payable at Ghaziabad.
