learning and curriculum. Open’s well rounded diverse environment will promote

PLTW is a national nonprofit organization that partners with middle and high schools to implement a curriculum that emphasizes hands-on experiences in Science,

Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in an effort to prepare students for academic and professional success in these disciplines.

South offers six PLTW courses (Typical grade level)1. Introduction to Engineering Design (9th-10th grade) 2. Principles of Engineering (10th-11th grade)3. Digital Electronics (11th-12th grade) 4.
