  • SECURITY OF THE MOBILE STATION

    The mobile laboratory for thermodynamic tests has been studiedin a Diesel Fiat Ducato charge 2.300 high top. The means cananalyze and elaborate in real time all the necessary parametersfor the checking of Cooling Towers, Air Coolers or all the otherstypes of thermal exchanger. All the acquisition system and theinstruments have been chosen and realized according to C.T.I,D.I.N. and B.S.I. norms. Besides the Thermodynamic analysis,the mobile station can raise and calculate airflows in big mains,point out and study the Vibrations about structures or mechanicalparts, raise and analyze, according to the in force and abovementioned norms , the acoustic emission of every machine,analyze the conductivity, the potential redox and the Ph recir-culation water.

    The mobile station is endowed with a weather station, installedon a telescopic pile, which reaches a height of 6m from theground level, it analyzes the wind speed and direction , relativehumidity and external temperature.

    SPIG Mobile Station has been realized according to the lastdiscovering concerning security. Inside, besides the basic devicessuch as extinguishers, first help box, there are some mobileoxygen bottles for the internal inspections of the cooling towers.The means can operate for brief periods (13days) in someinstallations with explosion danger, because it is without sparks.The station can operate independently by a Diesel generatorcomplete of fire damping or by connecting to a net setting at220V 50Hz. All the external instrumentation of the means is fedat 12Vac, all the necessary protections for some short circuits orelectric problems have been foreseen. In more than one set ofsensors properly they signal to the operator eventual anomaliesor stop the march of the means if it is still in a measurementposition( re-entry of the telescopic pile, standing stems, exit cableport open).     The realized software allows, beyond the immediate analysis ofthe cooling Tower capability, also the analysis of the efficacy ofthe Cooling Tower in Real Time by calculating the Thermal Lag.Automatically, at the end of the test, the Test Report is printedwith all the references to the Norm.
