Trace Analysis of Explosives and other Sensitive Samples

Typical sample types build on existing methods to target hair, fibers, cosmetics, mineral samples, paint chips, and volatile hydrocarbons. Add our DXR/SERS (Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering) Analysis Package for increased Raman sensitivity with user-defined libraries (e.g., low concentration ink samples).

Search and Seizure

Obtain positive identification of materials, directly through packaging and evidence bags. Measure extremely low concentrations where our highly sensitive laboratory instrument can provide very low detection limits. VDPS ensures representative sampling of mixtures to capture multiple components.

Pharmaceutical Tablet Analysis

Powerful OMNIC Specta software uses patented search algorithms, allowing automatic identification of multiple components, such as excipients and active ingredients. Generate a fingerprint signature that can verify counterfeit formulations and aide in tracking the source of illicit compounds.

The DXR Raman microscope is a Class IIIb laser-safe product, unless installed with the Class I Laser Safety Enclosure. Installation of a fiber optic probe launcher and fiber probe will convert all microscopes to Class IIIb laser-safe, even with the Laser Safety Enclosure installed. The DXR SmartRaman spectrometer is a Class I laser product, unless it is used with the fiber launch option, in which case it is classified as Class IIIb laser-safe.
