Super Blow-out ensures effective delivery of micro-size drops.Reliable, consistent pipetting of micro volumes is crucial for many of today’s advanced laboratory procedures, es-pecially when expensive reagents are used. Specifically designed for micro-pipetting, super blow-out sets the standards for pipetting performance, accuracy andprecision at low volume settings. Designed to increase blow-out volume, the innovative telescopic piston boosts the power of the blow-out step thus preventing capilla-ry action. Super blow-out ensures efficient delivery of micro volumes and has been designed into Finnpipette F1 and F2 single channel pipettes for the followingvolume ranges; 0.2-2 µl, 0.5-5 µl, 1-10µl, 2-20µl and 5-50µl.

Thermo Scientific Finnpipette F1

The Thermo Scientific Finnpipette F1 combines all the features that Finnpipette are famous for with state-of-the-art innovations – this is the first time an antimicrobial treatment has been used with pipettes for better protection.

Integrated Surface ProtectionWe are the first in the world to incorporate antimicrobial treatment in our pipettes. The handle and the dispensing but ton of the Finnpipette F1 are made of an anti microbial polymer containing silver ions as the active ingredient. The silver ions are slowly released via an ion-exchange mecha nism. When the silver ions come into contact with microorganisms, the ions are taken up by microbial cells and interrupt critical functions, such as DNA replication, resulting in the death of the microbes. Silver is well known to be safe for human contact and effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms. The used treatment reduces even 99.9 % of the bacteria remaining on the surface.The antimicrobial treatment protects the pipette from microbial growth on its surface thus preventing deterio-ration of the polymer parts.

Advanced Volume Gearing (AVG)The Finnpipette F1 has many features dedicated to improving accuracy and precision. It has a specially developed self-supporting modular volume adjustment mechanism. Because the AVG mechanism is separated from the pipette body, its accuracy and precision, and its durability, are greatly improved. In addition, to eliminate the possible effects of hand warmth on the accuracy of your measurements, the AVG mechanism is also thermally isolated from the body of the Finnpipette F1.

Set and Forget Volume AdjustmentThe user-friendly Set and Forget locking volume setting mechanism ensures the volume remains as set. To adjust the volume, lift the pipetting button up and set the volume. Then simply push the button back down and the volume is safely locked in place. Once the pipetting button is pushed down it rotates freely for extra comfort, without altering the volume settings.

Adjustable Finger RestThe Finnpipette F1 has a novel adjustable finger rest that can be adjusted 120° to the most ergonomic and comfortable position for pipetting and tip ejection. The finger rest itself is wide and comfortable so you can hold the Finnpipette F1 at the ideal pipetting angle and relax your hand between pipetting cycles. This makes repetitive pipetting less tiring and more comfortable, and reduces the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

Light Pipetting ActionThe Finnpipette F1 has a very light pipetting action that requires just a small amount of effort. Because of this, the risk of RSI is dramatically reduced too. And, with such a smooth and steady action, your pipetting will also be more accurate and precise, with better pipetting results over longer periods. The Finnpipette F1 also features our patented super blow-out feature to ensure the delivery of micro-size drops. The super blow-out piston is incorporated in pipettes with volumes of 50μl and below.

LargeandClearErgovisioDisplayThe Finnpipette F1 features a large easy to read Ergovisio display that makes setting volumes clear and easy. In addition, the fine adjustment ruler lets you easily check the last digit, which is presented against a clear linear scale. Precision is further ensured by the precision click volume adjustment, which enables volume increments between 0.002μl and 0.01ml depending on the model. In addition, there is a separate slot where ID tags can easily be placed beside the display. Several tags are provided with each Finnpipette F1.

Soft Touch Tip EjectionThe Finnpipette F1 minimizes the forces needed for tip ejection with our patented soft touch tip ejection mechanism. This innovative gearing mechanism produces more down force with less effort, releasing the tips with just a gentle push. Advanced Volume Gearing (AVG)As accuracy and precision are the most vital aspects of any pipette, we developed the Finnpipette F2 with a self-supporting modular volume adjustment mechanism. Because the AVG mechanism is separated from the pipette body, its accuracy and precision, as well as its durability, are significantly improved. DoubleActionPipettingButtonThe Finnpipette F2 has a revolutionary double-action pipetting button. An additional benefit is the rotating upper part of the button moves independently of the volume setting mechanism, to prevent unintentional changes in volume settings. Like the lower adjustment wheel, it is made of a softer plastic material to offer excellent grip with effortless volume adjustment.

Fully AutoclavableHigh quality results depend on absolute sterility. To provide this and to prevent cross contamination, the Finnpipette F2 is autoclavable at 121°C. The entire pipette can be autoclaved in one piece or in separate pieces in a sterilization bag. The pipette is constructed with materials that have a high resistance to reagents, UV-light and moisture.

Comfortable ergonomicsThe Finnpipette F2 has a supportive finger rest that lets you hold it at the ideal pipetting angle and lets your hand relax between pipetting cycles. As a result, it makes long periods of repetitive pipetting much more comfortable and less tiring, and reduces the risk of RSI. The tip ejector button is rounded and ergonomically designed to enable the most comfortable thumb position.

Easy In-lab Service and CalibrationThe Finnpipette F2 is very easy to service; simply open the pipette by removing the tip ejector by hand, and then use the handy maintenance tool to remove the tip cone. This same practical tool is used to adjust the pipette’s calibration using the calibration nut located at the top of the pipette handle.

Intuitive text-guided graphical user interface

The intuitive menu makes all the most commonly used functions, such as PIPETTE, easily available. Selecting PROGRAM accesses nine different user memory slots, which are available for storing your own combinations of the 10 different pipetting functions.

Forward pipetting is function used most often. You can select the pipetting volume easily by pressing the scroll key.

The STEPPER function enables you to repeat-edly dispense the volume you choose over a selected number of repetitions. This function is usually used in routine applications where efficient and high speed pipetting is needed.

Stepper PipettesThe Thermo Scientific Finnpipette Stepper, a lightweight, easy-to-use repeater pipette, allows rapid repeat dispensing up to 45 times in succession without refilling. The universal Stepper handle is adapted for seven tip sizes*, to cover a dispensing volume range from 10 to 5000 μl. The handle is also available with an eight-channel module.Five delivery volumes are possible with each tip size. Simply attach the appropriate tip size, fill and prime the tip, and use the dial to select the volume. The ergonomic design of the handle makes it comfortable to use. For light, one-handed operation, the Stepper has a unique finger rest and dispensing lever. The Finnpipette Stepper works on the positive displacement principle and is ideally suited for work with corrosive and viscous liquids. All seven Finntip Stepper sizes are available in sterilized and unsterilized versions. Sterilized tips are individually packaged. *Adapter required for attaching the 25 and 50 ml tips.

Multistepper Pipettes The eight channel Thermo Scientific Finnpipette Multistepper, designed especially for work with Microtiter microplates, helps to speed up routine laboratory procedures. With a single loading, the Multistepper can deliver 24 x 50 μl = 192 wells, 12 x 100 μl = 96 wells, 8 x 150 μl = 64 wells, 6 x 200 μl = 48 wells or 5 x 250 μl = 40 wells. The eight channels are calibrated to simultaneously dispense exactly the same amount of liquid. The Multistepper works on the air displacement principle. It is comfortable to use - simply attach, fill and prime the module and dial in the selected volume. The same universal handle fits both the multichannel module and the seven, single channel Finntip Steppers.

The Finnpipette C1This portable, lightweight serological pipette holder is designed for use with graduated and volumetric glass and plastic pipets from 1 ml to 100 ml. The Finnpipette C1 offers simple, efficient pipetting performance with maximum pipetting comfort.

Total control of pipettingThe Finnpipette C1 excels in offering total control of pipetting due to eight speed alternatives for both aspiration and dispensing. It also enables two different ways of “gravity only” dispensing. Additional control is gained from the 1 ml pipette support that stabilizes pipetting with narrow 1 ml pipets. The Finnpipette C1 also has a large illuminated LC display, that shows battery charge and pump speeds for both aspiration and dispensing. The display alarms with a blinking light when the battery charge gets low.

Lithium-ion battery technologyEffective and comfortable to operate, the Finnpipette C1 features a heavy-duty lithium-ion battery that allows the pipettor to operate continuously, approximately three times longer than regular units using nickel cadmium batteries. The lithium-ion battery can be recharged in just three hours. A universal power supply is automatically delivered with the unit.

Pipette standsWe offer a variety of pipette stands to store multiple or single pipettes. To ensure safety and convenience, pipettes must be protected and stored safely, preferably in an upright position. The Finnpipette F-stand accommodates six pipettes. The sturdy crossbar structure with a slot for each pipette ensures that the pipettes will sit snugly in the stand. The Finnpipette F-stand is suitable for both single channel and multichannel pipettes. The new Finnpipette multichannel stand is a multi-position stand for a multichannel pipette. The pipette

Autoclavable or disposable reagent reservoirs for a variety of applicationsThe autoclavable reagent reservoirs are suitable for many purposes. They come in three different models. The V-shaped bottom of the 60

ml reservoir ensures the recovery of liquids, whereas the divided reservoirs reduce reagent costs.These non-autoclavable disposable reagent reservoirs are made of polystyrene and have three designs ranging from 25 to 100 ml. They assure safety, not only due to the extra-wide base that offers stability but also due to the pour-off spouts that are located in all four corners. All the disposable reservoirs have a V-shaped bottom that maximizes recovery of liquids. In addition, the divided reservoir saves time and reagent costs by enabling handling of two liquids at the same time, also in smaller volumes.

Flexible in every wayThe new Thermo Scientific Finntip Flex system is the latest breakthrough in pipette tip technology that offers flexible, soft and sophisticated high-end tips for discerning users. The Finntip Flex system consists of new generation, easy-to-use 10 µl, 200 µl, 300 μl, 1000 μl and 1200 µl tips, tip rack and space-saving refill kit. Tips reduce RSI* riskWith its special thin wall molding technology, the new Finntip Flex tip is designed to enhance pipetting ergonomics. The latest molding technique combined with the Finnpipette tip cone design enables very low attachment and ejection forces to avoid stress related injuries. The wider 2,2 millimeter orifice enables better accuracy and precision when stepping, and has graduations between 1 milliliters for quick volume check. Finntip Flex 10 extended tip is also available as a filter tip and as sterile to avoid contamination. Finntip Flex 10 ml extended is only available in bags to save labs space.

Finntip Flex Refill KitsThe innovative Finntip Flex 10, 200, 300, 1000, and 1200 refill systems are very easy to use. Just place the refill tower on top of an empty Flex rack and with a single click the new tip matrix plate is placed. The following tip matrix in the tower slides automatically in place to be ready for next refill action. The tip matrix plates are secured from dust inside the refill tower case. The Finntip Flex 10, 200, and 300 refill kits contain two refill towers with ten matrix plates per tower. The Finntip Flex 1000 and 1200 refill kits contain two refill towers with eight matrix plates per tower. They are pre-sterilized with gamma radiation, making them safe for medical, pharmaceutical and food industries, PCR applications, as well as molecular biology and cell technology. Finntip Multistepper – 1500 μlSpecially designed for use with the Finnpipette Multistepper, this tip has a nominal volume of 1500 μl, and accommodates standard 9 mm microplate spacing. Finntip Multi-steppers are also available in racks of 96 tips, and in sterile or non-sterile versions.
